Senses have prevailed (thanks to the bleed randomness) and will be holding on to my bleed-free 1440p until OLEDs are affordable (which are immune to bleed).

It's not being impatient. We've been told every week for the last 3 that they are due in imminently. What compounds the frustration is that OC is one of the very few companies that actually takes your money when you pre order and this monitor isn't cheap. I'm not blaming OC btw. I genuinely think they have no idea where the new stock is. And I probably am a bit impatient. Like someone else said. I like new shiny things!
Isn't the main issue with bleed the 29" version, that people post pictures of, more so than the 34" which the thread is about?
I'm still eagerly awaiting one of these, sold my old mac pro yesterday and want this even more now.
Also there are some in stock over at the rain forrest.
There are unfortunately LG34UM95's with the same bleed issues on this forum and others.
I'm rolling the dice and taking my chances, hopefully I do no regret that decision.
As others have said, OcUK seem to be in the minority of online companies (at least that I have encountered) these days that take the money up-front for pre-orders.
Just a heads up if anyone is wondering, the 29UM65's are in stock
There are 200 coming into stock very very soon
Thank you for your webnote
The item is in stock the pre order is a error on the site.

Adam Jones

What's QC most likelyI sent my 34UM65 back (not OC) due to backlight bleed, how these are getting through QC?
Got excited for a moment. Says on the website that there are 10+ um95's in stock right now. Apparently we are just being teased! Still not in stock!
