LG to Introduce 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (Model UM95) monitor

Further to this I just called them to confirm, I asked several times and they confirmed these are "definitely in, they came in today".

Amended my delivery for Saturday delivery at my home address.

Thanks for that. Don't know why they told me it wasn't in stock. Changed to Saturday delivery also!

not immune to image retention and screen burn though. That'll be fun.

Took 2.5 years for my phone to get some burn with LOADS of usage.

If they can implement some sort of pixel orbitor like plasmas have, or make it that the screen can be rotated 360º (so every few days you just flip the screen over to keep pixels from getting too burnt), then it should be fine.

I'm guessing the website changed to show stock before support where made aware of the delivery.

Glad you noticed my post, I looked for a PM option but could not find one. Imagine you would have been a little irritated had you not noticed in time to change delivery to Saturday!

Yes I would have been peeved had I not seen your post. Had actually given up but noticed they were still showing in stock a few hours later. Off tomorrow too which is handy! Just hope I don't get a duff one. Lol

I'm hoping for a good one also, though tbh as long as it is new and not one that looks used I'll take my chances.

Just have to be very careful removing it from the packing so as to keep it (and the packaging) in perfect shape should we need to return them.

Took a a pic of the screen at 10% brightness. Seems ok. Tiny bit of of glow on the edges but im fairly happy.

That looks great. Very nice.
My RMA was delivered to OCUK today and they've already assigned me a new order. So perhaps I'll get mine shipped tonight? With Saturday delivery maybe? Please? :D

Edit: Replacement was shipped! That was fast (or lucky, perhaps). For next day working day delivery. That's fair enough, DPD are pretty solid. I wonder if the new ones are UK specific models?

Also getting my new industrial Noctuas tonight, can't wait to see what they're like.

I'm considering buying the UM65 now and running it alongside my 27 2560×1440 purely for gaming and movies. I don't mind 1080p gaming and movies are going to be at that res anyway. Then I still have my lovely Sammy for productivity/browsing and all it's beautiful real estate :)

Do it!

I'm actually putting one of the 95s next to my samsung (same as yours) as I'm starting to feel restricted with the one screen and don't want to lose the height.

Took 6 months on my s2 and s4, and my alarm clock is almost all unreadable after two years. And no, that's nothing like full brightness either lol. Just saying, I can see the outline of my status bar on my s4 on a grey screen already. Good luck on a windows desktop if its *anything* like as bad!
