LG to Introduce 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (Model UM95) monitor

I bought mine from the first batch of 10 on OCUK and had to return about three weeks later. OCUK paid for courier and refunded money all within three days. Can't say fairer than that. Buy with confidence.

But having seen mrk's experience I would be wary about buying an LG product again.

Well I just placed my order here at OcUK. No point in DHL Express as they don't deliver over weekends in Ireland.

I look forward to finally getting the monitor, and I shall of course keep you all updated on the details.

I'd be interested in seeing what rev you get. Sorry to use you as a Guinea Pig ;)

Haha, well if something goes wrong OcUK will be far better than the 3 week hell I went through with the german reseller on rainforrest uk.

I'm also off to Ikea this weekend for a new desk after 9 years, so I want it all purrrfect. :D

Photos and videos for you all incoming, once it arrives. Most likely next Wednesday.

Good luck. I am tempted to buy one for delivery tomorrow and just DSR it if it has problems!!

I am holding off on getting a new 29" monitor for the time being.

Don't really want to spend the extra £100 on the asus and I don't want to go with the DELL because of the input lag and going with the LG is just too risky atm because of the back light bleed issues and now this warranty UK/Germany thing *sigh* :(

^^^^ Some things are just not meant to be ;)

I have just conditioned myself to not be too picky about IPS glow / bleed on my £250 LG. For me that works, especially considering its price and what 21:9 offers.
I don't think that I could be that generous though if I had bought one of the 34" versions, then again I would have little desire to do that, considering my use.
I am put off with dealing with LG again in the future, they will not be at the top of my list of manufacturers to use.

29EB93 still fine here. It's laughable thinking about it. This £300 display has better quality control compared to the £800 one I've sent back....

No!

Well not yet :p

So the magic build date is June, let's see what transpires with computeruniverse.
