Got mine all set up and with the naked eye looks pretty good in regard to this light leakage, I need mine more for work and won't be watching movies on it but it certainly isn't distracting at all and if I had not been conscious that these screens have a reputation for it I wouldn't have really given it a second thought. Thing is if I take a photo of it it looks about 100 times worse than it does with the naked eye. Maybe I got a good one or maybe I am not as concerned about it but I'm keeping it as it really is not a deal breaker at all.
Yup same here! I have some glow in the bottom corners, although looking at it it's not really noticeable. Yet when I take a photo it looks mental!
I haven't noticed it at all today when working in FCPX and Screenflow, and only now that it's dark and I forced a black background to look for it did I spot the Glow.
I see yours is connected to the new Mac Pro, is that via thunderbolt? I have mine connected to the old Mac Pro (with a GTX680 gfx card) mainly going to be using it for editing (Avid) so even a little glow in the corners doesn't show up with the suite running.
Unlucky mrh2019
So it seems whoever said this issue has been fixed with the monitors made in June is talking BS. Was it actually by a legit source or just some randomer???
How are you getting on with the asus one finguz?
No problems at all and I'm really glad I went for this one, gaming is great
