No one is "claiming" to be a public servant, a public servant is just someone who is employed by the state. The word "servant" isn't literal, they are doing paid work for a salary. Some of you live in cloud cuckoo land expecting Politicians to work for free, this is exactly the reason we have such bad Politicians and it's because we refuse to pay good wages in order to attract better people to the role.
