you think that many people in the country would disagree with him at the moment? I don't..! I know Tory members who think these are a disastrous lot and need a complete rip down and rebuild. when the foundations are rotten you need to start from scratch

Yeah I'm obviously not defending what's happened over the past couple of months - I just find actual discussion more interesting.

yea give them banker bonuses so they can chase the bonus for their term and not care about what happens after.

What could go wrong.


Also people saying Bring Back Boris shows how low IQ the country has become, memories of a gold fish.... he is the reason the country is so ******


We will all be taking rubber boats to Uganda or somewhere if he gets another crack

IF the government have a toss about what the country wanted as opposed to keeping themselves in power regardless of the cost they would have a General election. They are so hated at this point they may not even make the opposition if we had a general election now.

don't get me wrong.... despite what Starmer days I don't think he would voluntarily throw his party on the sword either if roles were reversed... but when you are certain beyond any doubt the vast majority of the country you are meant to represent want you gone, anyone with a shred of honour would allow the people to speak.

Uganda is landlocked, somewhere else would be better.

Ususal forum socialists coming out with their big brain takes re how we can improve the country by paying a bit more than universal credit for people we want to run the country making decisions that affect billions of pounds of public money.

When what we really need to do is pay people more, a lot more to take these roles...


... whilst also strongly limiting what other roles they can undertake both whilst in role and after they leave.

A serious intrusion on the lives of the people involved and one that will necessarily incur financial commitments for the state for these people once they leave office.

But one that may provide far more long term benefits over the short sighted politics of envy that previously led us to low MP wages (for their role) with a very corrupt expenses system making up the gap.
