London Bridge Incident

It would make zero difference, and in fact make them martyrs. Oh right let people see martyrs be executred in front of people? LOL. That's what they want.

You're thinking like a westerner, who values his own life.

If that's what they want fine line them all up and keep 'em coming.

I'll pull the lever till my arm falls off . . .

Problem is we let this **** into our country. Big mistake.

Does anyone know how it works in terms of specialist police response.

It's late on a Friday night. Are there specialist officers always on duty to respond to such an incident in London. Or will it be a case of calls going out to specialist officers at home about to go bed saying URGENT get on duty now or similar.

There will always be people on duty. For a major incident call outs as well.

FFS not again.

:(

"Tremendous gunfire which went on for quite a few minutes"

Guess they're trying to make a statement before tomorrows concert. :/

You see what with the outpouring for Manchester I kind of thought these ******** would do something.

That woulndn't make any difference. You're not dealing with rational creatures. They relish death, even their own.

Agreed, if this is another incident and the chap who caused it is alive, then he should be made to live forever.
An awful punishment, solitary black room, food processed into paste, dull lighting from above, no contact with the outside world, to live forever...

Going to London in a couple of weeks, bringing my daughter, usually these events wouldn't phase me in the slightest, but did have a momentary think about things when news of this broke while already watching Manchester reports.

If it's terrorism then I wonder just how many more attacks will be needed before it really does start affecting people's day to day lives and simply telling us to carry on as normal won't work for many.

One of the issues of coming from NI! We get to used things like this over here, so we just brush things like this off.

I only wish we could do this, put them in rooms that are barely big enough for them to move in. No TV, no reading material, no light, no warmth, bare minimum of food and water. Sadly it would never happen.

As the mayor says, this is an unfortunate part of being a big city, nothing to be done so let's move on now until the next atrocity happens.

At least we're united in being terrorised on an almost weekly basis now, when's the candle lit vigil?

RIP any victims and thoughts to their families.

One reason the citizenry should be armed.

Most of these people probably never even saw it coming - the average person seems to have very low awareness of what is going on around them let alone the situational awareness and training to use a weapon.
