Ah, this is the ex copper who has been on an anti May crusade since they were investigated for unwarranted stop and search of the general public, particularly young people and reminded to follow the guidelines and process rather than just random searches. Interesting..
According to BBC news he was in a critical condition but has since stabilised, thankfully. A genuine hero and as you say, absolute balls of steel.

There are wahabi ideology mosques in the UK, I know at least one. But even these will not be encouraging terrorism.

Looks like this guy was booted out of his local mosque, so you see the problem is not in most mosques.

It would probably be enlightening to identify which branch of Islam the woman in white was from - I have a pretty good idea but I'd only be guessing.
You don't really get this level of radicalisation purely online - it might introduce or reinforce it but in most cases it won't be enough to indoctrinate someone at that level.

Ok? Nothing constructive was ever going to come out of a GD thread anyway - I'm fairly sure the security services aren't sourcing their ideas from people who get shouty about how "something" must be done after each terrorist attack. I'm glad you got some use out of a new phrase though.

These attacks are simply common or garden Islamic dysfunction. It happens everywhere Islam has the numbers and freedom to do it – it’s hard wired. There’s a reason Muslim majority countries are authoritarian, it’s to manage Islam’s presence. We’ve noticed increased problems not because of foreign policy, intolerance or Islamophobia**, but because Islam is spreading into the west and inevitably bringing its dysfunction with it.
The solution is a combination of:

However it is not permissible to treat all people who do not share your beliefs as infidels. It is not permissible to inflict your own views as the law above that of the country. It is not permissible to control the rights of other individuals by gender or race or religion except as stated by the laws of the country.
Religions must conform with host country laws. If they do not, they can be proscribed. Religious institutions that can be found to act or preach outside the law should be closed down or preachers dismissed from the country.
