Yeah a lot of the designers are still waiting to see exactly how much and what will be available to change by Lua , I've heard that Turbine would be opening it up to quite significant change so will be interesting to see what the UI designers can come up with. In the meanwhile I've been sticking to the complete sets, the most popular tend to be Eorlingas, Daimon, JappMe , Delving Hills and Durins Folk.

Finally decided to start leveling again last night, dinged 50 & think I might head to Moria now.
Got a couple of friends in the Kinship last night as well, I'm going to start planning more events - would anyone currently in the Kinship or looking to join the Kinship be interested in helping out?
We've already got the website setup for event sign up etc, I will see about getting full access to it as I'm not sure what permissions are on their atm.
What level is everyone around? Assuming we should be looking at going to Great Barrow first.

Yep! I'm three weeks away from an exam, but once that's over definitely. Hit 50 on my captain the other day too.

Yes, it has an option to use DX11 paths now.
Yeah performance seems to be hit and miss in DX11, guildmate says his performance is much worse under DX11 whereas mine is much improved and a lot smoother under DX11. I imagine which card/drivers and other spec you have enters into it too.
Mine is much the same, although the only improvement I can see is the reactive water.
I've noticed a slight difference in the quality/volume of particle effects and the level of detail at long distance seems better. Course, both of those could just be in my head though
Yeah, I know what you mean. The distant hills in Forochel looked nicer at first I thought, and the snowstorm up at the redhorn gate had swirly bits that I don't remember before. Doesn't mean they weren't there though

I'd be happy to help out, I'm on Laurelin and have more max level characters than I care to admit... I am of course involved with another kin but i'd be happy to put a low level alt in to OCUK and help out with instancing or raids if you ever find you could used a hand here or there.

Do those zone packs work for all characters on one account/server? Or does it only unlock for the one character?
Also for new players, with those two packs you could probably level the majority of the way up to 50 and then 50-65 with the expansion packs, may be a bit tough in the early 20s though.

If you picked up the lone lands too you'd be pretty much set up to the early 40's at any rate.
Zone packs work for all characters when bought. Interestingly this is following the same pattern as the US f2p did, they also did Evendim for 149 points early on...they also then later on did The North Downs pack for 149 points too, so if the EU continue to follow the US pattern then you might also see North Downs at 149 points at some stage.

Well its probably aimed at the free to play players as they dont get Lone Lands so the LL revamp is irrelevant to them.
