VIP accounts had their free 500pts per monthly from the moment free to play was announced , so effectively you got 500pts per month that you logged in going back to about June or July or whenever it was. It's one of the reasons why I have 6,500pts now , give or take

, obviously though you only got those extra 500s if you logged in each month

Some of my points also come from the anniversary rewards for having a veteran account, plus before f2p came in I made sure that all of my characters got their deeds to 90% complete then for the first week of f2p I just ran around on them all completing all the deeds and getting the points for them

Probs didnt log in each month as i was disabled with knee operation so couldnt get up stairs. From what i can tell i bought lifetime £75 in June 2010.

Meh ill try and log in each month anyway 500pts will soon build up!

Yup it builds up pretty quick on a VIP account, plus as its a VIP account there is virtually nothing in the lotro store that I need to buy anyway , haven't spent any yet so they are just getting higher and higher. Will just keep all mine and use them to get future expansions for free

yeah that was my plan really

i dont bother with destiny points either

when did it go FP2? date etc? i can set a reminder on my phone to login each month..lol

The official launch was at the start of this month.

I use my destiny points , I find them useful for monster play and a few other little boosts from time to time

Still waiting for CM to sort out the TP issues, we will all recieve an email in time regarding the points and correct allocation.

As for F2P - it was nothing special really, had tried enedwaith in US beta and EU preview and its a plain and boring area that kills a bit of time.

Finally got my champ to 650 might/agility/vitality only for it to drop considerably with the new crap +25 radiance set, will have to grin and bare it for BG only!

Is this right?

I have my main char but wanted to see what the new beginners content was like so had a little go and went to use destiny points but it said i have to purchase them even though im vip? or is it a specific level that it it opens op for vip users?

You build up destiny points as you level and complete quests, so as a new character you wouldn't have any.

Not sure really it just seems so bland and seems to suffer with the "trying to hard to look real" textures.

I don't know maybe its just me expecting too much.

I am just very underwhelmed by it visually.
