Well its been ages since I stopped playing this (lifetime sub) and went to play wow also which ended up stop playing due to not enough time to play.

Had numerous emails about the switch over and now another expansion Rise of Isengard.

I've moved over to turbine but going to wait and see how many points get moved across etc.

Any idea if you can use points to buy the expansion?

So slowly going to come back to lotro as i don't have to pay and just seems a waste when I could be collecting points etc. I think ill try and do 1/2 hrs a night

You can't buy it with TP at the moment, no word on if its going to be added to the store.

I'm tempted by the pre-order, but a bit miffed that UK customers are paying 1/4 more by purchasing in £'s rather than $'s. To be honest I'm only in it for the 25% extra exp gain, help me level my 3 alts quicker.

Hoping it does get added to the store as that was one of its main selling points when it was being advertised.

I bought the Heroes pack as i'm a Lifetime VIP, the horse/pony is really nice and the clothing you get is rather nice as well.

Q: How do you see how many TP (Turbine Points) you have?

All i've done is moved over and it says in an email wait for 72hrs for everything to move over so i've not logged into the game as of yet.

Ah right, it takes a while for the points to appear, if you click on the LOTRO Store button, the points will show up within the store.

This is the Horse/Pony and the clothing you get, minus the helmet.

As far as I'm aware it's forever, but it only lasts until 65.

VERY Tempted too!

Only thing which is annoying me is you can't buy it direct from your turbine account and have to setup a new password etc via the site.

I tried purchasing the Legendary pre-order last night a couple of times but the website let me down. I presume it was getting a bit swamped.

Will try again in the next few days.

The XP bonus will help me get a handful of toons languishing in the 45-55 range up to 65.

The deal looks pretty nice overall and as someone stated, if you're paying by Paypal just leave it on USD and let them do the currency conversion. Works out about £8 or £9 cheaper.
