It is a great FTP game and the story is incredible (well they had a huge advantage due to the IP). you can play the first 30 levels for free and If you play it the cheapest way to see the entire game is to get one months subscription (£9) to unlock all the skill slots and other useful stuff for your characters and buy the Isengard Legendary expansion (£33)which comes with all the quest packs form level 40 to the new cap at 75.
With a little in-game effort this will enable you to see the entire game for under £45 quid.....

Setting aside the fact that I'm in a different Kinship, I'm all for helping out folks I (kinda) know on Laurelin. If either of you need a hand with anything give me a shout. Same goes for anyone else on Laurelin.

Doesn't mean it's a waste, you can play the game practically for free now and whenever you want without worrying about getting your moneys worth from monthly fees.
I have a lifetime too, but I play in bursts - could stay away from it completely for a month, and then play nothing else for a whole week.
I blame Moria - whenever I get a toon up to 50, I just can't face trawling through 5 or 6 levels of dungeon all over again. Even rushing it, it still takes ages. Would have been nice if Enedwaith of Dunland was done even partly as a replacement for Moria level content.

Couldn't you get to the maximum level possible from the other regions BEFORE entering Moria, then skirmish your way to the minimum level needed to leave Moria. There are several skirmishes and doing one of each (that you like) every day will give the extra skirmish mark bonuses as well as levelling up your skirmish soldier.
Not saying this is ideal, but I know that I and many others find skirmishes a nice distraction.

It is, it's also possible if you do all the deeds in each area, as well as what you suggested. I think i was Level 22/23 when i finished all the starting areas on my 4 characters, still got to do that annoying chicken run in The Shire though.

I did a load on my LM to get the necessary items for my eagle pet, and they drove me spare. You can kind of minimize your time in Moria by entering late, leaving early, but the game really is designed around you spending about 5 levels in there, would be nice for there to be an alternative.

Wes, were you making absolutely certain you got the Undying title or just doing this as a challenge? Because I'd imagine with the XP penalty this would have taken quite a while.
BTW glad to see we seem to have had several new toons join the OcUK guild. Must be Morgaddiel's recruitment drive....

I like to do everything, but no, it was during a few XP boosts, it wasn't intentional despite i was trying my best not to die however, i can't seem to do Angmar due to the sneaky ******* stealth Wargs for the Chicken Run.

I've actually enjoyed Moria, I'm 59.5 at the moment and just finishing up quests in the Foundations of Stone/Shadow Refuge.
Going to hit 60 and get Kindred with the Miners (already have guards) and then make my way to Lothlorien.... time for some sunlight once more.

I enjoyed Moria the first time around, and actually even more the second, as I found a lot of stuff I'd missed the first time.
This is my 4th toon in the 50's though and I'm at the stage where Bosi and his mates can go jump down a well for all I care
