Linus is moving into the whole proper benchmarks area with the labs.

And one of his employees said that the lab would be able to give better results than gamers nexus.

Less than a month later gamers nexus releases a hit piece against Linus. That's not a coincidence

But people are like Steve's doing this for his customers and the gamers....

Could you imagine gamers nexus benchmarks with Linus production ability. They'd kill Steve's channel to the casual viewer

But that's the whole point of Linus, hard ware unboxed described it best. Linus is the gateway drug with their production aimed at casuals.

Steve is well known for being a ***** and didn't like the idea of Linus moving from casual to more hardcore (his audience) with the lab.

I'm not defending what steve's got correct, here, it's the way it's been approached. For example, we have already found out since GN released the video that LTT have agreed on a sum to compensate Billet Labs. Steve didnt say that. Did he even know that? he would have, had he given Linus a chance a respond.

Wasn't it Steve who first warned Linus about the LTT hack? If he wanted to damage LTT he could have just left them to do their thing overnight.

We can only go but what the parties involved have said. Linus said he already contacted them, implying that happned before GN's first video. Billet labs say otherwise. LMGs response to that will be interesting. Also, i'd be interested to know when Linus himself actually got involved.

I wouldn’t call Steve’s video a hit piece, calling it that implies what was brought up in the video isn’t accurate. I’ve not seen anyone able to refute the claims made by GN. Instead we have people trying to divert and going after Steve ad hominem rather than discussing the points made

Perhaps, but maybe GN is genuinely doing this for the greater good, and doesn't want LTT to potentially make these mistakes on a larger scale and screw over the consumer.

Definitely going to be interesting to see the ongoing fallout from this!

I hope so. They've got the potential for a great set-up, but they seem to be overworking themselves with churning out content which is presumably what leads to the errors.
