If that is all true, and I would question the validity of a ex-employee accounts without corroboration from others.
Then my opinion on the matter of Linus has changed spectacularly.
I could forgive and defend the whole heat exchanger issue as I have worked / employeed logistics that are a world unto there own (I fired a guy for destroying £30k of bolts and nuts because he thought they were scrap without asking...)
I could forgive the inaccurate information as I've never seen Linus as a mainly tech channel, more a entertain-tech channel, bit like the history channel is to history.... And therefore they have to keep the YouTube algorithm happy which pushes constant output rather than quality to keep your channel in the top section of the search engine.
But reading Madison's thread, it comes across as poor inter personal management and lack of adequate HR skills. Which might be why he's brought in a CEO??
Seems Madison was unable to get the assistance that was necessary and was completely out of her depth for the job. Something a good manager would pick up and deal with.
The idea that she was put on a warning for reporting inappropriate touching/ grabbing is ****** up. I work in one of the most male sexist industries and anyone that made a female employee that uncomfortable would be out faster than he could think.
I have disciplined multiple people in other jobs for sexual harrasement after complaint from a female apprentice. I don't put up with that **** with my employees or people sub contracting for me.
Heads need to roll at ltt, the CEO needs to come to the front and show he has the company under his control and **** like this won't slide.
Not sure I'll be watching anymore ltt, despite it being good for casual tech viewers. I can't stand the traditional YouTube tech channels as it feels like a meeting with death by power point.
Tldr: defended Linus yesterday as I've dealt with logistics teams not communicating and can understand deadlines pressure. Now after Madisons tweets I think **** needs to change
