Mafia II came up on the steam homepage over the weekend - but you're not able to actually buy it :\.

Where is the best place to buy a key that's usable on Steam? Feel I need an intro to this game before III is released.

yeah I the same but have been unable to buy mafia 2 anywhere which I find quite surprising

Not sure about this just yet. Massive, massive Mafia 1 fan here (ranks as my fav PC title), however 2 was a colossal let down - good story, wasted ingame world. I hope they put more work into the 3rd title instead of milking the DLC's, which they will no doubt do.

Also not sure how I feel about the main char apparently (not looked at many vids) being anything other than an Italian chap...

Mafia was a top top game. I liked Mafia 2 but never got around to finishing it. Liking what I see of this one though so fingers crossed for it.

my views too. if they wanted to make another mafia game, set it in the 30/40s with italian mafia.

if they want to make an open world game set in the hippie era than do that but don't call it mafia.

Im still unsure whether to get this for the PC or PS4...Im leaning more towards PS4.

Does anyone know if the PC version is a port anyway?

I hope their DLC is better for Mafia3 this time,It was terrible (and overpriced) in Mafia 2.

Both Mafia and Mafia 2 were superior on PC. I'd be surprised if this was any different. I think there's still people from 2K Czech working on this, and they have that PC experience.
