iviv has already stated that he is using notifications to be alerted to updates to the thread.
The fact that he agrees with me comes as no surprise to me based on earlier posts we have both made suggesting that we are thinking along similar lines

Check my post made right after midnight, Fortyseven is one of the players I'm finding fingering as being scum. None of the current votes (I don't think, awkward to check on my phone) are for other players I see as scum. Plus I have instant email notification on so I can respond to posts straight away like this.
Furthermore, unless we are playing some very weird rules, scum will not have had a chance to talk privately. Either of the neighbour variants may have, though it is extremely rare for there to be two scum in this pairing.
My vote isn't coincidence, but it isn't planned, as such. Getting 7 votes on one player in 12 hours will be tough, so once there is a focus placed on someone I think it's scum, I have to jump on it and push it forward so we don't lynch someone I think is town.

There can't be any communication between scum yet can there? I was under the impression they can only communicate at the end of a game day.
However some of Jedi's new roles may permit it, but even then I think it is only one way communication.
From what I have read I have 2 people on my definite town list. Leprechaun and Shorttricky. I believe Iviv and and Chris are probably town. The rest I am unsure about... still not good odds. I understand the need for a collective vote but I'm not convinced on the voting for Fortyseven.

To be honest, the only stand out seriously anti-town behaviour has been Shamikebab early in the thread. He has since calmed down and that behaviour was probably too obvious if he actually was scum. But should we be completely overlooking this?

I voted with no reasoning to start a discussion, as you and many others have done. I brought someone who had neither voted or had been on anyones radar to the front, I don't think that is overly scummy.

He's on my 'dodgy' list and I would support lynching him if there was sufficient consensus that a lynch had any chance of suceeding but this is all about numbers and at the moment I have to have my vote where it's got the best chance of being effective.

I've stated above that I believe Chris is more likely town than scum, so that leaves Pookie and 47. Neither of which I'm certain on either way. Will have a re-read and focus on those two and see if I can make my mind up either way.

no as far I'm aware scum can't comm till night time I meant like trust or something but iviv wouldn't be one to do that
iviv did mention his suspicions of 47 and I would be inclined to agree that 47 is not looking out entirely for the interest of the town

I wish I could do a better breakdown of why, but quoting multiple posts is next to impossible on a phone. However, I encourage everyone to go through the thread and read everyone's posts. I would say especially focus on those by Fortyseven and Brabbinho. Lots of posts, little content. Though Fortyseven is at least slightly better than Brabbinho.

Do you not think it's wise to at least cancel your vote for chriscubed whilst you think about it if you agree he's more likely town than scum?
At present he has 4 votes with 3 non-voters and could, in theory, be killed whilst you're deciding who to vote for.

Just for the record, it's a three-way at the moment, as Leprechaun has withdrawn his vote against chriscubed. I highlight that because it's only fair that people vote as their conscience and/or reading ability dictates and note select him purely as he has the most - even though it puts me in a slightly more perilous position
Having re-read the last few pages, I'm actually starting to move my suspicions more to towards shorttricky and K1LLSW1TCH who have jumped on me as soon as someone else did. A glib "I'm sorry if I'm wrong" has "I'm mafia and I know you're innocent, but I want to cover my backside in case you get lynched" written all over it.
That said, chriscubed has gone all quiet - perhaps because I'm not the only person whose mentioned that the quiet ones have proved innocent in the past (at least on day one) - although some of that was from Brabbinho, who has a vested interested seeing as he hasn't really taken part much!

I've been quiet because I've been stuck in an electrical cupboard with no mobile or wifi signal for the morning. I'm back, for now.
Here's my list of reads:
01 Brabbinho - Neutral - Sounds pro town but still not a lot of content
02 Pookie Bear - Scum - Was posting scum from the start. Is starting to consider other options, possibly now that my bandwagon is less viable
03 Fortyseven - Neutral - Had him as slight town initially, but started a random vote when there was already plenty of ongoing discussions.
04 Kaiowas - Town - Has been following the pro-town path since the start.
05 Egon - Town - Has been voting sensibly based on suspicions from the start.
06 iviv - Town - Has been following the pro-town path since the start. Has voted 5 times to my 3 now though, I believe he is just being a bit overzealous but others might see it differently.
07 Pudney - Slight town - Has been advocating pro town behaviour, starting to see him follow his own advice at last though by posting more and voting.
08 Leprechaun312 - Slight town - Did have him down as slight scum but acting more pro town now.
09 K1LLSW1TCH - Slight town - Pro town posts regarding iviv/me driving the game and explaining posting patterns.
10 shorttricky - Slight town - Seems to correct his posts after being told what was wrong with them. Pro town but not convincing

12 Shamikebab - Slight scum - Posting like scum as if he's not worried. Almost too scum. I've wound him up, I can see that, but can't tell whether he definitely IS scum or not despite him posting like that.
13 Psymonkee - Slight scum - The only player still really lurking with only 7 posts and not much content, claims it's for RL reasons which I believe but needs to post more to get a decent read on him
To summarise, Pookie, Shami and Psymonkee are my top 3, with questions over Fortyseven and Brabbinho.
I'm hoping my posting style will seem less in-your-face now that we have some decent discussions going on and much less lurking.

I have said several times now that something bothers me about you and Leprechaun. I haven't changed my opinion or vote.
Take that as glib if it pleases you. It wasn't - I know it sucks to get kicked early. But I don't need to cover my backside.
