Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Cool image if anyone didn't see it yet!

And oh, I can't wait for the next race. ;)
Very noice. :) I wish the TV cameras in Malaysia adjusted themselves so we could really see how dark it was. They did that on Channel 4 a few years ago with the cricket. Adjusted the cameras to show us how dark it really was because it looked like a bright sunny day otherwise. :D

on the other hand you had that scumbag cheating **** Schumacher who cheated so many times by taking out his rivals to win championships yet was still regarded as a saint by so many blinkered people, also had full support of that other **** bernie and his FIA crew ...
I dont understand why Schumacher has to be brought up - I doubt anyone here would ever defend his actions...

Please try and remain on topic - i.e. F1 2009...

ps3ud0

Well that's it, no need to wait till enxt Thursday, the diffuser 3 will go free now :p

How do you know that McLaren aren't on the side of the Diffuser 3?
Instant diffuser ban then. ;)

However, if they are going to speak against it - dilemma for the WMSC.

Do they ban the diffuser and give McLaren a hand, or do they keep the diffusers and displease Ferrari?

Well Honda got a 2 race ban for their illegal fuel tank.

Yes honda got a 2 race ban, not for an illegal fuel tank but for getting it wrong or lieing when being asked if the tank was empty. They said the car was empty then the FIA changed the way they checked. Honda were banned for lieing.

you must hate pretty much every footballer as they all dive to get penalties and freekicks, or get people yellow cards or sent off.

Yes, there are very few footballers I actually respect. Very few that haven't drained my love of the game. Even when I go to watch my nephew play at 7 years old I see the traits of those cheats and mouthy ***** have poisoned the amatuer game :(

Hamilton who was told not to disclose information by his 'employer', he was misled and im sure every other driver would have done the same thing, under pressure from his boss withheld the information.

McLaren ****** up, and as usual the media and press have slaughtered Lewis as if he murdered someone .. its laughable

Firstly I've never met or spoke to an f1 fan that considered Schumacher a saint. For the most part when MS cheated he got banned for it. Sometimes not long enough but he still got banned.

Secondly you really need to read some of those news links if you really think he was 'misled'. Misled to me suggests he was telling a lie and didn't know about it. Pressure from the boss? Lewis hamilton and his father are all but the boss in that team now and is quite apparent how **** scared the team have become to upset either of them.

Honda lied and got a 2 race ban which affected the drivers. Mclaren lied and got the points removed for one race and may well face further sanctions while the driver will not in all likelyhood.

Hardly the consistency everyone always raves about wanting.

Or where Honda asked 'Is the fuel tank empty' which is was and they told the truth cos they had a secret one lol

Who else had a secret tank?

At least 4 other teams - it was to ensure the fuel pump received an uninterrupted fuel supply

The company that makes a lot of the tanks for F1 was very busy after Honda was banned.

The mistake that Honda made was using the fuel as ballast which is clearly disallowed, even if the car couldn't run without that 4kg or whatever it was in the collector.

Here's an interesting one...

From what I can gather, ecclestone is suggesting that mclaren face a ban for being naughty, but he also says that hamilton has already been punished... so how does he punish the team without punishing the driver any further?

and at what point, do mclaren simply say 'sod this, we're outta here'

Not 100% sure on this but have the teams signed a new Concorde agreement or an equivalent? If they have then aren't McLaren obliged to compete in F1 until the current agreement ends?

$100 fine and kicked out of the constructors championship?
But if McLaren actually get banned from races, i.e. told not to turn up, then Lewis still gets punished.

F1 needs to drop things like this. They got punished for the race and lost points for it (driver + constructor) and maclaren have got rid of who was in charge at the time of the incident.

Let it go and concentrate on the positives of the sport rather than the boring same old crap we've being seeing for how many years.

I believe they are currently working under a rolling agreement until they can agree on a proper one.

TBH just watch the racing, the less we know about the rest the better
