There have been some inane posts in this thread but this really stands out.

On that snip from the BBC programme about killing whitey, I think we can all agree that that sort of thing needs to be buried as soon as possible, hopefully there's plenty of justified complaints about that and she gets blacklisted from major broadcasters. She's a moron.

Ah, the difference here is that she meant it as a joke whereas the guy who ordered the banana meant it as a joke... erm... oh... :confused:

It's a bit strange how openly some people of diverse ethnicity are allowed to state they want to kill 'whitey' , jokingly or not, yet it isn't considered to be a hate crime, or provocation of genocide.

Yet if one was to claim that all lives mattered it would cast the speaker under a bus., let alone the guy who flew the 'white lives matter' banner. He didnt say that people of x colour should be killed, unlike this woman, yet was investigated for it and on tv they apologised so profusely for even mentioning that lives of people with white skin colour matter.

Tis all a bit wierd with the double Standards here.
 
Even though technically you can use the word "diverse" the way you have in a couple of your posts, I don't actually think you understand the definition correctly.




On the topic of the idiot lady - this is quite a poisonous culture currently sweeping the modern media, extremely similar to the way the translobbiests worked. We can all see this type of thing perpetuating strong disagreement and contributing to further segregation. It is unfortunate, but the seas will eventually settle as they always do until the next wave needs to be ridden.



The irony of the persecuted is quite hilarious from an outside perspective, even with the seriousness of the subject.

How can they prove that the senders motive was 100% racist. If it came with an accompanying note then yes but in this case its just a banana.

If we are so stupid that we can't get along without laws drawn on racial grounds then they should apply to everyone.

Personally I don't really want to live in that police state but that's the way 2000s are seeming to go.
