Im getting a slight pause like every 2 seconds with Mantle is BF4 trifire x7950, had no crashes, but totally fine in DX11.
It's been re-iterated several times now I think that Mantle isn't currently optimised for multiple GPU setups.

Ok mines all at stock, just run a quick go on Lockers 64 man, in DX was saying 64fps at spot i like to stand in on the map, enabled Mantle now and going back to the same spot and the fps are pretty much identical, 66fps in Mantle.
Seriously guys, this is a massive fail of a launch. The one chance AMD get to showcase and they release a fogged/crashing/broken driver for the one game they have had 2 years? to get right. What a let down.

They backed themselves into a corner I think release date wise with some of the PR comments so they couldn't delay it any longer to fix stuff... but even so this is exactly why I slate AMD and so far the Mantle launch isn't exactly doing anything to change my opinion.
Shame on you bro. Didn't you read the OP? Take a look.
What a let down?
For you?
What's your resolution?

Think its Dice not AMD, Repi said its on there end.

You keep crashing, so how so? Geeeez come on fella's, I can see the potential for mantle and an API that is close to the metal but I would be massively ******. Even the die hard fans must be a little fed up?
That could be more worrying if true, Dice fixing stuff
No because My 7970s aren't supported yet but I've experienced the gains to be had. And they are massive.
I think those who are being harsh to this release are being a bit silly with their reactions.
Because of the way games have been released lately it seems to me people have forgotten what 'BETA' means. This is a BETA driver and a BETA implementation of mantle (since it hasn't been optimised for the 280x and below).
Also, Battlefield 4 hasn't earned a particularly good reputation for being well programmed.
More importantly, this is the first game to implement mantle, but there was a pretty substantial list of developers (which can be found somewhere in the massive mantle thread) who said they were onboard. This includes the people making Star Citizen for example.
Even in this BETA state, we've seen gains of 50%+ in best case scenarios and ~10%+ in average-to-bad scenarios. This is fantastic if you actually think about it. In product terms it means the 290X becomes on par with the 780Ti and any Xfire setup will be better than its Nvidia counterpart.
This is great for the consumer and great for competition.
Shanks (disappointing result btw), AMD have been close working with AMD on this, so they are both to blame. AMD paid $8 million to secure this deal and I see it as a massive disappointment. I want to see it a win but reading site after site makes me see a massive big fat fail.
Sorry, but that is the truth.
