The previous MvC games used 4 attacks buttons - low punch/kick, high punch/kick and 2 buttons for tag assists.
MvC seems to be modelled after Tatsunoko so it will be interesting to see how this will go.
And as mentioned above, the most simple description of these Vs games is that they are truely mental. If you suffer from epilepsy then stay far away because there is quite literately a crap load of "flashiness" involved. The first game is notorius for this.
The sheer fast speed, mentality and reactions to keep up with the game, effectively doing combos, moving about or staying in the air, switching characters on the fly, using assists for massive team damage, it can be very difficult on the eyes if you are new to this.
If you got cash to spare, you can get MvC 2 from the XBLA/PSN store and have a go in preparation.
Oh absolutely, I have preordered a whole host of games on the cheap, but I never realised MvC3 was out so soon. Cheapest I found it was £32, unless anyone can point to cheaper? Thanks
Ok thanks all the same K.

Btw, I was asking about tips on Guiles FK FADC U2 in the SF4 thread, I've watched some videos of various peeps who have tried to explain it, but I have been unsuccessful in pulling it off, if you could mosey to the thread and give me your 2p worth I'd appreciate it.

You can also get it for just under £29, by using an unlimited 15% off 'trick' somewhere else.

By the way, Im not totally up to date on where all the characters come from, is there somewhere which explains where the characters come from in each of the franchises?
