Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I can't play on a joystick. I have my modded Madcatz SE but I can't use it as it is too noisy and I have a baby sleeping in the house (as well as the wife).

I do have however a couple of the Madcatz Streetfighter pads and have always played with them.

I read that it only uses three or four buttons. Do you think that one could get good at/play with some competence with such a pad?

If so I may look to placing a pre-order...
 
Some of the top players in the world of SF4 use pad.

I really suck at arcade sticks, I'm getting better but really bad still. I could do crazy things on pad back on the day, but I've not played many fighting games recently so my skills have gone down hill a bit!
 
There's a video going around showing off Galactus as the final boss in the single player game. Now that's some ridiculous SNK Boss Syndrome right there. But then again, he is a Cosmic God. :D
 
Guys, please be careful on videos discussed of the unreleased game.

Capcom aren't happy certain things have gotten leaked, and because of this youtube accounts are being closed.
 
Correct me if I am wrong, but this kind of discussion should be fine. It's only the direct publishing of protected material (such as the Dayglo Akuma/Chav Ryu videos from SSFIV) that is at any risk of action from Capcom.
 
Yeah it should be okay, but I'm just pointing to be careful.

A lot of guys have their stuff nuked with the SF4 AE fiasco, and apparently a few videos of MVC3 have been nuked too... Capcom really shouldn't bother TBH, in this day and age it's so hard to prevent people from getting the videos out... but *shrug*
 
Indeed. And it's not as if we are the ones publishing the videos ourselves, and even then, many of these leaks are featured on gaming news/blog sites. Not hard to miss.
 
TBH, what I didn't like was that it became flagged as copy righted content by youtube, yet no one at the time capcom didn't actually intend for their release.

Meh.
 
Well I just purged my gamertag of SFIV/other games I will no longer play people so ready to get heavily into this, will probably have to re-add a lot of people though but I'm not touching SFIV with a bargepole once this hits. :cool:

I'm also finally hooking up a headset adaptor and putting it in place on my PS3 TE so I'll be able to join the XBL parties to voice chat..about time I got this sorted out.

A lot of people I know are doing the same. Finally an aggressive popular modern fighter to replace down back masher 4.
