I know there's no PC release date yet, but is there at least a confirmed PC release at all?

Was up for pre order on Game since November then they took it down 3 days ago. So I guess officially there is no PC version. Not for now anyway.

I've very high hopes for this game. I'm hoping (praying) it will help to revive my interest in fighting games. Over the past few years it has drained away to almost nothing...

I thought the trailer for this game was awesome, really got me hyped up for it.. but when I looked at the gameplay on Youtube I was a little disappointed with the graphics and gameplay, looks like a lot of button mashing going on. I will still buy it I think, although my hopes arent as high anymore.

I would like the idea of a lot of hidden/unlockable characters... shame its not Capcom vs Marvel vs Square Enix lol

no Gambit in Marvel makes me sad

8/10 in games (tm) this month.

36 characters not including dlc. The last two were still under NDA though. They state the last boss is rather cheap with a 200+ hit move that kills even characters at full health (but still looks good). There isn't apprantly many background stages but the ones that are there are meant to be really well done.

I'm going to give this a go and make it a day one purchase :).

How do the MVC games play compared to the SSF games? I've had this on pre-order for a while but the two play quite differently dont they?

For those who have played this already, how does it feel with only 3 attack buttons, light, medium and heavy? Kicks are punches are determined by the game and not the player arent they?

Correct, it's just like TvC in that respect (and many others).

Care to elaborate?

SSFIV is a turtlers paradise. It's slow, predictable and easy to see what's happening. SSFIV is an incredibly simple game with very predictable tactics.

MvC is mental. You have teams built around chip, rushdown, keep away. You have 3 characters, and the whole assist/switching/composition to consider.

I'll post a longer reply after my flight home but basically it's vastly more complex, much faster, and far more interesting.
