*** Mass Effect 3 ***

Bioware haven't said anything other than "We are listening". If Bioware release some dlc that isn't ending related, the internet will explode with nerdrage. Its such a pity that the ending sucked since the rest of the game was superb. The only two things that I didn't like were:

The lack of any meaningful consequence of saving the rachni queen in ME1 and not seeing Tali's face on the Quarian homeworld when she removed her helmet.

The music over the entire series was also fantastic.

Also, cutting the Anderson dialogue near the end was weird since it was such a good exchange between him and Shepard.

If you romanced Tali in ME2 (and continue it in ME3) she leaves you a picture of her face, alas said picture is a completely crap photoshop of a stock model pic.
On the Rachni front, maybe not classed as a major consequence but if you save the queen in ME1 and 3 you get the Rachni help as war assets with no probs, if however you kill her in ME1 then save the cloned one (or whatever it is) in ME3, they go on a rampage and lower your war assets.

The indoctrination/hallucination theory does make a lot of sense (especially with that tree) but after the "final hours" thread it seems that it wasn't intended by the devs. Plus, making people pay for the real ending would be outrageous and I'm pretty sure that I read that free content can't be offered on xbox live and ps3 iirc.

Dunno about PS3 but free addons can be done on the xbox, Space Marine's co-op multiplayer mode was a freebie for example.

Oh dear ....I am coming back to the idea that they have something up their sleeve again!

Too much does not make sense!

PS. I didn't mind Tali's face tbh. Pretty much how I imagined it

A reveal on Ranoch would have been much better though

There are threads on BSN where people are proposing their own endings, and every one is better than the official one

The Tali pic would be hundred times better if they hadn't used a pic with a hand in it, shopping out 2 of the models fingers just looks odd.

Tali's face was and should always have been a complete mystery, just like the faces of all other Quarians. Any attempt to reveal it is just stupid.

I chose that too. Looked to me like everyone else died apart from a few on the Normandy. I agree though, wasn't the worst of the endings.

Everyone but Shep seems to live in that ending, they are just all turned into cyborgs by space magic :p

hmm yea, that's what I don't really get. It's like did everyone on Earth and in space around Earth die? I don't see why they would have? I wish the ending made it more obvious as to what happens to everyone on Earth and in space around it

i guess I just assumed everything else had gone. I saw joker and evi as a kind of Adam/Eve type thing. They seemed pretty confused too, maybe no memory? A few other characters wandered out too, no idea how they fit into it.

As much as people complain about the ending, and now that I've finished it and the ending is OK, I effin love Mass Effect, it's just so awesome and I want more of it; a film, a MMO a new game. The universe bioware has created is just too good

Oh, I would agree that it was an excellent series - up until the final 5 minutes which makes any future playthrough, DLC, sequel, prequel, film or mmo utterly pointless.

I agree to a certain extent, however there was the perfect opportunity to do a really good reveal at one point in the game on Ranoch. It would have worked really well, especially if Tali is your love interest in the game.
Alas, the space wizard did not allow it:p

Just finished the game. I liked the ending

The ending is a strange one really. I totally respect your opinion ......I just can't understand it tbh.

tbh, I am perfectly happy with everything up until Hackett tells you that the Crucible hasn't fired. After that it all collapses in to nothing. That is why I originally went with the indoctrination theory, although it is looking like it is definitely not the case now, unless Bioware have completely lost the plot!

this is brilliant- http://h9.abload.de/img/jhtqyrqxxg.jpg (it is kind of a spoiler)

If only:(
