*** Mass Effect 3 ***

this is brilliant- http://h9.abload.de/img/jhtqyrqxxg.jpg (it is kind of a spoiler)

If only:(

Wow, that's loads better than the crud bucket end we got

What I really don't understand is how in all the game development planning meetings that they must have had did they think that this would be a good ending to the series that people who have invested a lot of time and money into.

Damn MP disconnects >:(

At least make the points/cash apply 'live' so if I get DC'd on wave 11, I don't lose all the points I've gained in the last 20mins...

Nice edit LOL:)

It was originally "wow that's much better" but you couldn't leave it like that.....I understand:p

Seriously, I have seen loads of proposed alternative endings and they area ALL better than the one we got, someting must be up.

Someone even knocked up an edited vid on youtube that is 100x better!(in fact there are quite a few)

Interesting, better developed endings.

Who knows what happened in those meetings, but when the main lead writer leaves and segments of the main plot is altered accordingly - I sense all is not well within Bioware.

It is truly mind-boggling. Another reason I was sure the inoctrination theory was right and they had something planned. The ending is so obviously unnaceptable.

Add that to the promises before release, the ridiculous dlc message, the plotholes which are so obvious they must be on purpose(no one can write that badly) and the lack of any kind of closure(an epilogue or something). They surely had something planned .....right!

So what sort of endings would people like to see?

There are hundreds of proposed alternative endings on Bioware Social Network and they are all better.

Peronally, Indoctrination theory is vey good and fills in so many blanks. It really makes sense of the ending. However, if Bioware do it now, they will only be adopting it(probably:p....still not sure), which will cheapen it somewhat.
- Something that shows the assets you have acquired in a final battle
- Proper choice and consequence
- An epilogue at the very least
- No Space Wizards

Something is definitely up. Just spoke to a mate who just finished it and he said in earnest "I don't get the ending, do you think Shepard could be indoctrinated?"

Something where I feel that the choices I made throughout the series actually mattered and made a difference to the final outcome, such as what happened in ME2. Throughout the whole final sequence in that game you got the feeling that your choices mattered, if you hadn't done something there was a possibility that a character would die. For me there was absolutely none of that in ME3, there was no consequences to your actions, no pay-off for saving people, for ending wars and uniting people groups. The whole final battle felt rushed, where was the cut scene showing me one of my companions falling because I hadn't helped out the Turians/Krogan/Quarians/Geth? What was the point to building up the defences of the Citadel if it didn't matter when I got there?

And that's all before the silly space wizard.

I want the tiniest possibility that if I've done everything right across all 3 games then I can save the galaxy from the Reapers, keep the Mass Relays and have Shepard survive, but if I haven't then he dies and/or some of the relays are destroyed cutting off some systems

Is the lack of text chat in multiplayer really cheesing anyone else off?? I cant recall a shooter in the age of the internets that didnt have this function. Its not like they have forgotten about it either, as it was included in the demo.

It has probably already been mentioned but theres an event this weekend where if you do a reaper event on silver or gold, you get a random n7 weapon(only 1 regardless of playthroughs). Theres also a reward for the community killling 1 million brutes over the weekend, but they dont have any progress bar for it.

Because they probably don't actually have anything in place to track it and they didn't realise that till after.

As for the text chat, it had a key bind in the MP demo sure... but it didn't work. And given that Bioware have apparently commented on the lack of text chat being an oversight, its as if they made plans for it (hence the keybinding) but never actually did it.

Also whats a bit irritating about MP is the weird hitboxes, or it could be the netcode. Some shots just don't seem to register.

This is due to most of the calculations being done client side, you can use a single player trainer to alter how you play the mulitplayer too.

Seen a player that was firing a black widow off like a minigum and being pixel accurate with every shot.

He was taking down banshee's in 3 seconds on gold... :(
