*** Mass Effect 3 ***

3.. about 3 dozen for me :o

what difficulty setting mate?

Normal on my 1st playthrough went to Veteran for 2nd but had the controls down by then so only took either 1 or 2 attempts.

Still on 3rd playthrough minly due to the fact it's Hardcore and also I've been distracted by the multiplayer and the rest of the Babylon 5 Franchise I havn't finished yet(only The legend of the rangers, crusade and Lost tales to go if anyones interested :p)

I played it on Insanity as a vanguard on my first and only play, my pain was legendary even in hell.

Charge not working, or not working properly when it did, made the short lifespan of a vanguard all the shorter. I wish I had tracked how many deaths I had, it must have been impressive.

I played that part this morning(normal), and as far as I remember you only have to fight one brute at a time. I stayed where you start and they dropped one Brute off, and I had already killed it by the time the other one had got in a position to do any damage.

What class are you Huddy? I am a sentinel and a few Overloads and Warps can sort them out fairly quickly, especially if you use your squadmates abilities as well(grenades, mines) with a bit of dodging around and firing. Just focus on one at a time, telling your squadmates to do the same.

Very annoying..

Whilst trying to run away from an enemy, the character decides to take cover in front of a rock..

I have to admit, I'm struggling on the following:

Palavan - "Clear the Camp" - Just before meeting gen Victus.

There a re various Cannibals and two Brutes.. I just can't escape either for the reason I stated above. If i take cover I can run but as soon as a run past a rock, he ducks down below.

I spent half an hour last night on this.. i got one brute down but as soon as run out into the open, the controls have a mind of their own.

Use biotic combo detonations/tech bursts to do more damage
Also isn't there a couple of missile launchers on the ground?

See here for info on the combos

Biotic detonations made life a lot easier on Insanity. As a vanguard with Javik and Liara, I could manage a combo with most of my charges and novas.

Before this playthrough, I had only ever played as an infiltrator(plus a few as engineer!

...As a sentinel, I have too many powers if anything(for my mouse anyway, after remapping the quickbar)

Heh, just noticed that the voice actor for Kai Leng is Troy Baker, also the voice actor for Snow in FFXIII.

Luckily his voice is a little more variable than Ali Hillis who voices Liara as well as Lightning from FFXIII, the only difference between being that as Liara she speaks in a monotone.

Or MORE of a monotone......her voice really is rather dull.

Nailed it in the end.. I had to drop from Hardcore to Normal after a dozen more attempts. I just wasn't getting anywhere. As soon as one Brute dropped, I was out of ammo and had to run for more.. and trying to jump over a rock with the one button was infuriating as he lunged into cover.. instead of jumping.

I found the missile launchers in middle afterwards haha

I read somewhere that normal is higher than the average normal setting of the first two anyway.

Yayy Win for teh Admiral!

Longshot maybe but, perhaps someone here has dealings with EA support.

I've been billed twice for some BioWare points I bought in order to get the prothean DLC - but only recieved one set of points.

Anyone know where/how/what I have to go to in order to get this looked into?

I'll personally bake you some cookies if you can help.

Javik is important to the story, and has some interesting dialogue(and is another squadmate after all) but he is a right ****!

Also, this guy had the same problem- http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18393884

So something to consider if you used paypal

In order to contact them, it makes you login with your origin account. However, it constantly says "The request cannot be processed at this time.".. has been doing this all day. Does it work for you?
