So who is pre-ordering with Origin? Its £34.99 however I'm really tempted due to ease of obtaining the game... Normally digital downloads are way overpriced, however £34.99 isn't too bad I feel...

Simples.

Copy the game files from one PC. Begin the download on the new PC with Origin. Pause the download, close Origin then copy and merge the already downloaded folder with the "new" download folder.

Origin may or may not download something small and you should be able to install it right away without much more download.

just looked at my save file for ME2 on the PS3, that was over 23 hours and I did all missions to try and get all squad members loyal, this also included the DLC content you get with the PS3 version etc...

I didn't bother much with side missions....

Got mine pre ordered to receive on release day for 22.99 :D

oh and a cheeky max payne 3 for 20.99...........

oh, ok shame as £22.99 is a good price but explains it. I might just stick with Origin as its direct download and I can get the game quicker and I don't mind not having a DVD anymore..

Played the demo again, its actually a really, really good game I think. Graphically its fine, those asking for HD textures, well ok fine but I think it looks perfectly fine at 1080 x 1920, I think it looks better then ME2 at any rate..
 
I had a play-through of the single player demo last night and was disappointed.

The FOV seems a lot narrower than ME2 making for some awkward combat angles. Textures in places were horrible. On the plus side, the sound and UI were good and the storyline seems promising.

I'll be picking the game up to complete the story but if I was a newcomer to the series, the demo wouldn't have interested me :(

The sound is the best part about it, absolutely mindblowing. Music is good too.

But yeah there are a lot of minor niggles with other aspects.

tbh I also prefer no box but cant really afford too many games right now, waiting for the darkness 2 to dip below 20 to use some vouchers! damn saving for holidays is hard work :p

The textures are pretty poor but its not something that bothers me too much. Just cant wait to get the full game, its been a while since I was this bothered about a game and then 2 come along at once
 
The music was epic, I was blown away by the ending of the first mission truly did bring Goosebumps to my arms it was easily the best part of the whole demo.

Textures are a little lower then what most PC gamers are accustomed to but I think they are using a small bit of cell shading in places as well, noticed some subtle darker lines around a few bits here and there, which I think looked good. The UI is smaller, which is also better as it doesn’t take up the whole bottom of the screen.

Overall, yes I’m really excited for this… Just ordered myself a new mouse to play it, pre-ordered at Origin and I’ll eagerly await for the unlock to happen and I’ll enjoy what is going to be an epic game..

I’m just pleased it runs on my laptop without issue, can sit on the sofa, headset on with my laptop on my laptop tray and enjoy the story unfold.. Result..!!
