Keep in mind that demos are often branched builds with older code and assets, not always the latest and bestest.

I've a terrible memory so could you refresh me on a few examples? I would be delighted if this demo was an old build.

Can see it on game atm, 2 pound dearer, might go with them never used gameplay before.

I nearly made the same mistake.

I think Gameplay, Game and Gamestation are the same company so they should be ok.

I'm not entirely sure how closely tied Gameplay and Game/station are, but I know first hand they at least share the same stock and warehouses.

Oh great no gamepad support again. Another game I really wan't to play on Pc but will have to play on the Xbox instead.
Would it really be hard for Bioware to add gamepad support it's not exactly a diffferent game on pc..

The UI is different, which makes it very hard to use a gamepad.

Can't you play with keyboard and mouse?

I can but it hurts. I have metal pins holding my left hand together and lately it's getting painful to use the keyboard for any length of time.

I'm sure there will be some way to do it using a mod or xpadder or similar just a shame they cannot implement it from the start.

Oh I see. If you don't mind waiting there will probably be a mod out for it, but if you do then like you say the best bet is console.

The bioware dev team claimed they didn't have 'time' to implement gamepad support into the PC UI, the UI team for Mass Effect 3 are apparently too busy - erm ok..!! Copy and paste is too much effort I guess.

I'm glad I'm getting this for the PC though, from what i'm hearing the PS3 demo has shocking framerate. As I've only got a PC and a PS3 I'll just have to use a keyboard and mouse...

Do feel for you though, it really wouldn't be that hard would it? Many other PC /Console games have 360 gamepad support..

Pretty much every release. One recent example would be Battlefield 3. But in general, E3 builds, press demos... The demo / build is branched polished and QA approved, while the bulk of the QA, bug fixing and tweaks continues on the mainline. I would expect some of the little glitches to be polished off the final version. Although the demo was released closed to the gold certification, so I wouldn't expect massive amounts.
