Not supporting EA.
It has been known for ages, here is a link- http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/01/27/t...dd-free-areas-quests-and-characters-in-april/
Not really DLC if you bought the collectors in the first place?
But surely thats the case for any DLC? any of it is going to be interesting to fans of the series?

The whole reason most people are hacked off is they do love the games and hate the way they're being milked for it.But this thread should be for the lovers of the game. There's been barely any talk about the actual content and more about boycotting it.
Agreed.
I'm a mahoooosive fan of the series and I'm going to buy the Collectors edition. Not really because of the DLC but because of the other cool stuff you get with it.
I played ME2 three times all the way through without DLC then on then before the fourth playthrough I bought all the DLC and enjoyed the game again. Even if I didn't buy them I'd still enjoy it.
Some people will buy the game and it will be their first in the series, so imo the DLC will go unoticed by them. Of course there are big fans like me that will only get the standard edition without day 1 DLC, which is quite upsetting for them.

So now that the boycotting talk has (hopefully) passed, a bit of new game information.
It seems the game is around 40 hours long with the main quest being between 15 - 20 hours and includes 90 minutes of cutscenes. A bit more info here: http://www.incgamers.com/News/30612/mass-effect-3-is-40-hours-long-main-quest-is-15-20-hours
Not too bad of a length, about on par with ME2.
