****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Great to see some more info and a final release date:)

Minius GC has done a great break down of what seemed like a brief glimpse of game play deffo worth checking out:

Hoping to see some MP footage soon as a mash up of ME3/DA3 MP will be fine with me:cool::D

ME3 was a fantastic game, I have no idea what you're talking about.

On it's own merits and as a standalone game it(ME3) was a mostly good game, the previous two games were exceptional however.

After playing the first two games the third instalment felt lacking in some respects, rushed to market and outright unfinished. The ending was unbelievable too, literally ended with a different colour explosion dependant on your choices. Reeked of cash grab and I'm in no rush to shell out full price for another instalment.

This is of course just my opinion. I'm not looking to stir the pot or dump all over this game but I won't be paying full price for it, if I buy it at all.

Fair points, but Bioware dug themselves a bit of a hole with having the story branch out so much. It simply wasn't possible to have an ending tailored to every single outcome. The quality of the DLC they put out in Leviathan and Citadel, show they do have a good grasp on the series.

ME4 being 'a new game' and not a continuation of the story, will mean they have completely free reign. I personally think it will be fantastic.

I just completed all 3 for the first time and back to back a few weeks back. It was an awesome experience and genuinely miss playing it. Maybe it's because I'm still hurting the adventure is over, but I don't feel compelled to pre-order the game or play it straight away - think I'll wait to the price comes down and the last experience isn't as fresh in my mind.

That reminds me - I don't think I played the Citadel DLC, I don't remember seeing an option after I completed ME3 to do it. Is it worth playing and how do you launch it?

Citadel is just a bit of a cheesy fan fap really. It's fun but I'd only get it if it's cheap.

I played the game through my Origin Access subscription and I thought it included the Citadel DLC but I've just checked and it was the From The Ashes DLC the available version included. I think you play that naturally during the game though don't you - when you meet the Prothean dude?...

And yeah, Origin are charging £10.80 for the 1200 'Bioware credits' need to purchase the Citadel DLC... no thanks! I'll maybe watch a playthrough on YouTube one night.

Yup the Prothean and associated weapons are part of from the ash's DLC.

Really Citidal is all about the commentary, nostalgia from past characters and banter between them. Its a decent play but not worth £10.80 :o

Theres a new interview out with Aaryn Flynn, BW's GM, he doesn't give much away other than to confirm that they're working on a much longer ( 15min ) gameplay trailer.

Origin have got a sale on at the moment, there's 30% off on all version of Mass Effect: Andromeda.
