****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Why have people got their hopes up for this game? ME1 and DA1 were great games, after that both ME and DA were poop. Why expect a sudden change?
Agreed. That is why I did not expect anything good and it seems I may have been right.

ME2 and DA:I are both great games. I'll admit to being one of the weirdo's that misses the inventory management from ME1 but 2 was better in almost every other way. DA:I was a bit padded out but it's still an amazing game. I'll defend it to the death purely because of Cassandra's voice actor

I'm not sure why people keep linking the "Worth a Buy" videos in this forum. He is an absolute hack, his entire schtick is to rag on all games for views regardless of how petty the things he ends up having to complain about have to be. I watched as much of that video as I could stomach and he's complaining about the cover system because you can't crouch yourself and it's dumbed down. That might well be a valid complaint (I haven't played this myself) but I can't take it seriously from him because I remember he complained about Phantom Pain gameplay being too difficult so he started running and gunning everywhere. The guy is a humongous hypocrite.

The video Glanza linked is much, much better. If you want to watch an actual impartial, informative and useful video, I suggest that one.

Hmm, reviews are not looking good. But after the previous game I suppose it's to be expected. The only true Bioware ME game was the original, EA ruined them :/

ME2 was good as well, but I seem to remember it being a bit simple and very easy.

Funny animations which we've seen the videos, I had the problem with the black screen which annoyingly I had to uninstall my Corsair tool. Game crashing, and I had a bug where I quit last night and loaded back up and the lift doors wouldn't open, I had to reload the last save before that.

For me buying games seems to be more like buying hardware now, always better to wait a few months for the bugs to get sorted and patches deployed before buying it. I think I'll give this one a miss for now

Great visuals don't make a great game, whilst it looks pretty it's generic and dull.

I totally agree with WorthABuy's preview video on this one, gamers accept any kind of pap these days.

I'll await full reviews but I doubt anything will change, shame.

True that. That is why I have been loving playing Zelda since release. May not have the best graphics, but certainly some of the best game play IMO :D

Mack doesn't rate it. :D

Seems to be yet another slice of dumbed down gaming for the dumbed down generation. Another great gaming franchise ruined.

Listening to this I realised what the game is like. It's like if you buy the best building materials in the world, AAA cement, high-grade steel, etc., and you dump them into a pile, and now they're like: Ta-da, the most luxurious villa in the world! Problem is, just because you have a bunch of materials doesn't mean you have a house, they still have to be used in a certain way and for them to come together. It's a very similar feeling I had with some past Blizz games (D3 especially, HotS too kinda).

It's actually become mildly enjoyable as a game UNTIL people start talking then it just makes me want to punch the screen (and unfortunately they just crammed ungodly amounts of inane dialogue into it - no one told them it's not quantity, it's quality and spacing matters as well; compare: eating a delicious desert, and eating 100 of those delicious deserts within an hour, only this time it's a ****** desert as well, and you're just gonna make yourself sick throwing up non-stop). I wish there was at least one single relateable or decent character instead of all of them being teen *****.

Honestly, you know what it is? It's a Twitter Mass Effect. That's the level of dialogue and writing in this game.

Spot on. The sheer amount of inane dialogue had me bored to tears. Tried to like this so much as....well,its Mass Effect ,but I couldnt care less about it now. I might pick it up when its under a tenner but theres better games out there that deserve my time.
