Think there was a smaller explosion first, as you can see the aftermath in the twitter video above (make sure you can see that)
Yup. This. You can see the aftermath of the first.

That doesn't look like fireworks exploding though - quite a few videos on YT of fires and explosions at those.
People were filming the aftermath of the initial blast. Supposedly a fireworks depot and you can see them going off in the one I posted and this angle too.
At a certain temperature, the fireworks will stop going off one by one as the fire spreads and simply detonate due to the heat.that'll result in a huge, largely simultaneous blast quite different from smaller fires
That has to be on a par with some of the largest conventional bombs! The shockwave and shrapnel must have been lethal within 300-400m.

Well that'll make it to number 1 on any "top 10 explosion" vids on youtube now, I don't understand how a warehouse full of fireworks can create such a blast though, it's bigger than that epic blast in China a few years which was around 21tonnes of equivalent TNT
Video below's taken from someone not more than 10 metres away from the factory and there are dozens of firework or ammunition going off before the big explosion. No idea if it was live or uploaded after but it's mental how close he is.

Edit: Already included in the Twitter link above.
Difficult to fathom how, in any rational sense, someone so close would/could have survived to then upload such a video
