Interesting bits of the Quran

2:191 And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.

2:193 And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.

2:216 Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not.

2:244 Fight in the way of Allah, and know that Allah is Hearer, Knower.

5:33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom.

And bazaarboy instead of making yourself look foolish...heres a thought why dont you find any of my posts that say im offended by the cartoons??...cant actually recall any of my posts saying I IZ OFFENDED!!111!!!....doesnt bother me in the slightest if you lot keep drawing cartoons that offend other muslims...personally doesnt bother me one iota...just find it sad that you think its acceptable to offend a whole group of people because a few of them are offended...but hey ho carry on, no skin off my nose.

The more I read the more I see that the koran is full of quotes encouraging hate & killing regardless of various posters denial

Mohammed said, “I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah” (Al Bukhari vol. 4:196).



Sura 5:51: “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.”

This friendship makes any Muslim a enemy of their own and deserving of the same fate as the unbeliever or infidel :eek:
 
What source was the translation? there are many sources out there mis-translating holy books from all religions.

Where did you get those translations from? I've been told there are many ways to interpret and translate it and easily get the wrong translation due to how similar many words are but mean different things.

Was it from an official translation?

In truth it just shows how sick your religion is, presumably you only found that video funny because it featured women being executed or tortured & we all know Islams views on women.
A video of men being beaten wouldn't have even solicited a comment from you now would it ?

And the bible, torah amongst other religious books dont condone violence/killing in the name of religion....from what ive been reading it seems like they do too condone the use of violence/killing...i mean Bush even said that God told him to go and attack Iraq lol....and he was a deeply religious guy.

So its not only the Quran that condones violence/killing in the name of religion....but dont let that get in the way of your rant eh??.
