Mechwarrior Online. Yes, really :)

Edit - bloody hell, there's load of 'em!

your welcome and LOL, there are quite a few. the Dark age's books were meant to reboot the franchise but didn't seem to quite work from what i can tell..

The Saga of the Gray Death Legion (refferenced in some of the lore)
&
The Warrior Trilogy (long storey arch covering a few year)

are actually a pretty good read

Lethal Heritage is were it all starts to kick of with the Clans.

the thing that got me most interested in Battletech as the animated seires :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BattleTech:_The_Animated_Series
its was after skeleton warriors :D and odd pair to be sure :D

Fingers crossed that they have it well setup, I dont want to be disappointed after all the wait between MW4 and MWO, first impressions look good but there is nothing like playing it to see how good a game is ;)

And the trailer, my god. The only way it could be better if there was a trailer with a Timberwolf in it (proper name you IS free-births).

Laserboat (6 x ER Large Laser IIRC) Madcat mk2 in MW4 was lethal, if a bit hot. Used to work well on the Lunacy map for sniping. :D

I can not wait for this to be released.

It's a pity it's not a Full fledged MMO, but it should still be good.

I did something I've never done before and I bought the Founder's Pack, I really want this game to be successful and I would really like that Razer Artemis as well.

It's been too long since there was a very good MW game.

Been waiting for a new Mech game for too long. If they can pull it off, it could be a great game. Hawken is looking pretty slick too.

Who knows, if it turns out that they become successful with this, they may evolve their next project into a persistent mech game.

In the mean time, Perpetuum is filling the mechMMO void.
