Yeah 3.6 or 3.7 mainly using VBOX, the Audi S3 with a stage 1 ( the new s3 ) is near as fast but just look dull in my view, nearly bought 1 until I got a good deal on this. Also bare in mind stock they are rarely 360 BHP most that have been on a Dyno have been between 368 and 395 BHP.

MSL in Birmingham have just bought the new GLA 45 and stock it was pushing 395..... theres is now creeping towards 440s.

Agree on the 40K part its kinda weird cost, but I think Merc did a good job because it kinda puts it outa reach of the normal Raceboy and makes it slightly more rare, for a price of course, ive seen only 1 other in the 4 months ive had it

Seems Mercedes have changed their car names. Quite a few changes. I definitely prefer SLK over SLC!

I was next to one in Sainsbury earlier - I had to double take to check it wasn't a 1.8TD with a wing on it. Not a fan at all.

Not sure the thought process behind it, even de badged anyone into cars could spot one by the size of the brake calipers, the discs, the exhausts....and oh my the sound.

Mercedes AMG's are some of the best sounding cars, the C63 sounds so aggressive.

The amount of C220 AMG, or BMW 320dM models that are around at the moment actually make me want to cry! Who ever thought that putting AMG / M badges on NONE AMG/M car's was a clever idea?!?!?!?

Massively whoreish sales tactics they should realise they are peeing in real M and AMG owners champers doing this.

I've got a C220 AMG Sport plus but the only AMG emblem that I can find is on the floor mats. I was at my local dealers yesterday and didn't see one AMG badge, are people just sticking them on?

It's pretty obvious whats under the bonnet of mine when it says CDI and there's just one lonely smoke pipe out back.

That is the silly thing. Anyone who knows what amg or m means know whether a car is a true amg or m. So don't get why they get stuck on. Seems like a marketing technique that will backfire.

Seems like its becoming more of a trim level rather than the engine spec.

Spotted amg on my wheels but they are black so you can't really tell without looking.

Its pretty obvious with most mercs though. Just look for the quad pipes, thatll be the next thing that gets stuck on a dirty diesel version!

Getting very tempted by C63 AMG's. I feel like I need a couple of years of V8 awesomeness before settling back to worthy diesels for the rest of my life! (or a Tesla!)

C55 AMG wagons, yes or no.. Be a facelift 2005 with 70,000 kms.

I read up on these on Pistonheads. Not *that* fast, rot like there's no tomorrow and shoddy build quality.
Have a search yourself, there are some interesting opinions.

What i have read, is the facelift W203 are a lot better. But trying to read up as much as possible.

Indeed. Never really saw any facelift C55s for sale when I looked.
All comes down to cost really.

CLK 55 AMG could be worth a look, or do you really need the space?

Where are you based anyway, as you're quoting km?
