Yes it is worth it, look at xbox.com or on here the number of people who have disc read errors or scratches. Moore says the number is "infinitesimal".
This the same lieing **** that said failures where within industry standards?
Soes it make it unplayable? I couldnt play GOW at all until I changed my 360. I tried 3 copies of the game. None worked until I changed my 360, then the 2 I still had worked faultless.
Watch this forum for a month and see the numbers from today who complain there 360 is scratching discs or errors and tell me its not worth it. As I said before it also covers all your other 360 hardware too.
My nephew had a 360 scratch discs and then the hard drive die, none of those are covered. Look at the cost of a replacement drive, do you have cofidence in MS hardware to say that will last 3 years.
I dont.
