Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

I fixed the weird frame rate issue where it was jumping between 30 and 60fps by changing the game to borderless window mode rather than regular full screen. Runs nice now between 50 - 60fps on my 7950 on high.

I did the same, but it disable crossfire.Only one card works but I see 4,5gig Vram used.Still getting nice fps though and no flickering in menu.

Anyone having issues with the sound on the cutscenes? I'm using HDMI audio from my 295x2 and I'm getting popping and lagging.

Doesn't happen in-engine.

It used to happen a bit on my old PC when I played games such as Arkham City, but that was using the motherboard SP/DIF.

Up until now I hadn't really had any issues with HDMI.

Maybe my sample rate is set too high for the game or something?

Running at 57fps on r290x 4gb, everything ultra, 2560x1600.

AGAIN FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT GET IT YET YOU DO NOT NEED 6GB V RAM, THEY ARE JUST LAZY PROGRAMMERS USING VIDEO RAM FOR CACHING NOT ALL THE TEXTURES IN PLAY AT THAT TIME, NO GPU ON EARTH CAN RENDER AT ONCE A 6GB SCENE, IT IS JUST LAZY GAME CONSOLE PROGRAMMING.

Ah think that did it ?

Late to the party on this one, and not reading through all these pages - but the ultra super duper textures dowmlaod - anyone running them ok on 780Tis? (3GB)

Sadly not. Got 2x EVGA 780 ti superclocks at 1080p and its a stutter fest with the ultra texture pack. Everything on ultra apart from textures (on high) and it runs like a dream though.

No SLI profile at the moment either, but it runs great on 1 card anyway.

Will see how mine runs on my two w/ced R9 290s and and texture pack. Only got a 1080p monitor and HDMI not long enough for my tv (yet)

Just had a brief blast using the keyboard and mouse rather than the x-box controller and found it loads easier!

Granted I went through the "tutorial" with the pad so had zero idea of what I was doing but I found it loads easier!

I have two 290s and even though the second one isn't being used I'm still getting 60fps on ultra at 1440p. You'll be fine.

Just purchased from CJS and downloading now!

7 hours according to Steam so I won't be playing this till tomorrow!

Got a GTX 770 2GB so fingers crossed it should be fine!

Tried the 'Fear 3 compatibility bits' for SLI and didn't like it. Seemed to add a fair bit of stuttering in combat and when rotating the camera. I have tried the Arkham Origins setting instead and it seems a lot better on my system. :)

Wow, just got my arse handed to me.

I went after a warchief and he showed up with 4 captains, all of whom were archers, one had poison arrows, the warchief himself was invulnerable to stealth, ranged and vaults over the top. My health just vanished in seconds after I took a hit and got barraged with arrows.

They all levelled up quite a bit after I died so I'm going to have to take them out one by one. Really starting to get into this now :)

Got this tonight. Quite enjoyable :)

Graphics are great and it runs very smooth. Nice to see well optimised games on the PC.

Shame I also bought South Park Stick of Truth today and that's amazing :D
