Mister FPGA

I think i've explained it wrong, hopefully the photos will upload and show what i'm trying to explain.

But the video above is exactly my issue. Would be great if it's fixable with ini file manipulation rather than changing the tv every time.

https://www.retrorgb.com/misterfpga-direct-video-guide.html - I'm not using hdmi. I have this board - https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister-fpga-analog-io-board/ and using this cable https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25511762...sU3h9Hc1t3qXK3AxXwHAOIfp9ItS8l8xoCi-MQAvD_BwE
Same YouTuber suggested the adjustments are still required last year. Sounds quite annoying. There are a few here that use CRT, perhaps they have more experience with it. I'm hoping to get an S Video adapter soon for mine.

Hi

I'm wondering if anybody can help me. I'm not sure if i'll be able to explan the issue any way :-)

I'm running my Mister into a CRT via SCART. My issue is I can't get the display filling the TV properly. I've accessed the service menus and adjusted the image, but it will be correct for one core - say SNES PAL but then if I play an arcade core it's over scanned. The amiga core isn't filling the screen properly either.

Annoyingly imgbb isn't allowing uploads right now, i'd have photo to show what i'm trying to describe.

Can you set custom screen reslution / overscan / etc per core in ini files?

Thanks
For the Amiga core have you added the following to the MiSTer.ini file...

You can set the custom aspect ratio for the core

Code:
[Amiga
+Amiga500
+Amiga500HD
+Amiga600HD]
video_mode_ntsc=8 ; These two use the recommended setting of 1080p60 and
video_mode_pal=9 ; 1080p50, adjust if you want a different resolution
vscale_mode=0
vsync_adjust=1 ; You can set this to 2 if your display can handle it
custom_aspect_ratio_1=40:27
bootscreen=0

And change the video mode to the resolution you want to output...

Code:
0 - 1280x720@60
1 - 1024x768@60
2 - 720x480@60
3 - 720x576@50
4 - 1280x1024@60
5 - 800x600@60
6 - 640x480@60
7 - 1280x720@50
8 - 1920x1080@60
9 - 1920x1080@50
10 - 1366x768@60
11 - 1024x600@60
12 - 1920x1440@60
13 - 2048x1536@60
14 - 2560x1440@60

I have not, but I’m just using a big standard CRT TV. Are those ini file changes needed?

SNES NTSC

SNES PAL

AMIGA

Random Arcade ROM

As you can see the arcade is overscanned where as the Amiga is letterboxed. Without having to manually adjust the TV via a service menu i'd like to be able to get all different cores displaying properly on the TV.

There’s also going to be a few more days delay until you can place any orders. The people manufacturing the SDRAM modules for him, didn’t include attribution to Sorg so he’s having 4000 labels printed to stick on them all.

These 'delays' are starting to feel almost deliberate.
