Monaco Grand Prix 2011, Monte-Carlo - Race 6/19

I like this new dark side of Hamilton. It's great. He's hardly any different to how Senna was, though Senna did have a better way with words :p

Really? I have an unbiased opinion of him but he just strikes me as a petulant, immature child with these outbursts at everyone around him and NEVER himself.

The boy needs to grow into a man and accept some responsibility or he'll never get anywhere as close to the greatness of Schumacher or Senna ... part of the reason why Schumi was / is so great is the way he envelopes people around him from within the garage, yet all Hamilton seems to do is push people away.

If I was his mechanic I'd think **** it, why put all my efforts into building him a decent car if that's how he's gonna act.

Nearly all to drivers have been like that. It's part and parcel of being a top driver.

Some of the Hamilton fanboyism on here and other forums is legendary. He can do no wrong to some people ahaa.

If that was aimed at me, I've been annoyed with him in the past and find it annoying. However look at how top drivers are , they are all the same. Senna rants, MSC crashes, there was a good documentary on Graham hill at the start of the season with his abussive relationship with mechanics,

Exactly. Senna and Msc used to rant as does alonso but you didn't continually hear them blame the team.

Atleast this time Dave Ryan doesn't have to take the blame for Hamiltons gob.

He wins and he downloads all thr PR guff about being in the best team, he has something go wrong and he's on the radio asking which idiot made the call.

Mclaren should shoulder a lot of blame for how hamilton is for leading him around by the knob for all his career. A change of scenary might do him the world of good.

I've been saying this since Ham came on the scene...

I can remember Senna taking a test in a F1 car for the first time and getting faster lap times
then their own drivers and then saying is was NOT a good enough car to win(which he was right)

MSC and Alonso played the politics game the same as prost did and when that did not work they then blamed the team or left.

I can see Hamilton leaving McLaren if they don't up their game - they continue to make too many mistakes.

Given how useless Webber has been this year, a move to RB would not shock me.

There isn't a positive move Hamilton can make to any other team, Vettel won't put up with him in a Red Bull and Alonso sure as hell won't have him in a Ferrari. What can he do? Take a vacant Renault seat if Kubica doesn't recover - hardly a positive move is it.

I do wonder who will get the second Red Bull seat when Webber retires, he doesn't have a contract for next year. Same thing with the second Ferrari seat - although maybe Kubica is a shoe in for that.

I would have said NOT A CHANCE a few weeks back but now I am not so sure.

Donington? :)

;) And he showed Mclaren how one should drive a F1 car.

Did none of you buggers miss me then?

Just sat through it all recorded from yesterday, have I missed anything that happened afterwards, as my recording is just about to end, cos of the delay in the race.

Sorry? And you are?

Apart from a couple of highly dubious penalties, you missed Hamilton's great interview.

Also watch the F1 Forum on iplayer. They go to the Red Bull Floater Home. There may be some playing in the pool.

We always miss you dear..

End of the race, no, you didn't really miss anything..
Forum should be up on iplayer, so you can watch EJ and DC getting dunked, and of course hamilton's "joke"..

Beyond that, no, you didn't miss much after the red flag.
