Monaco Grand Prix 2014, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

Hmm, regardless of if he screwed up on purpose, could the reversing towards the track not be considered on it's own as an act of blocking while qualifying is happening?

Blocking? No.

But going in the wrong direction is an offence. But then they would have to go back and penalize everyone else who has been reversing all weekend. Penalizing Rosberg on that ground would be the result of a deliberate attempt to penalize him for "something" in order to gift Lewis pole.

But hey, its not like the FIA to do things that make F1 a laughing stock... penis nose.

Part of me thinks how could someone like rosberg do this? Surely you would get found out. And he would be the last person you would think would

Then I saw him reversing. The decent thing would have been to drive to the end

If this transpires to be rosberg cheating I truly have lost a lot of respect for him

I've not even seen Rosberg reversing. When did he do it? While cars were still going through or after everyone had cleared the area?

Who was it in FP3 who reversed out from the St Devote escape road almost onto the apex of the corner, just as another car came through. If Rosberg gets a penalty, that guy should have got at least a similar on.

All of which he denied :p.

Flavios opinion being taken seriously on anything automatically makes the whole situation a joke. The fact he's even allowed into an F1 event, let alone on TV is a joke in itself.

He fits well into F1 though. Convicted of several counts of fraud in the 80's and had jail sentences. Close friends with Bernie, so he can help him out there. ;)

[edit]

Oh. I forgot removing a fuel filter from the refuelling rig allowing the fuel to flow faster, and in the process burning several pit crew members and Jos Verstappen.

Possession of internal data from another team. McLaren gets kicked out of the constructors championship and $100 million fine. Renault F1 gets.... Nothing...

Pole in monaco is perhaps the most important pole to have in the whole season ( in terms of how it puts you at an advantage for the race). If he knew that his final lap wasnt any better than his first in Q3 and was pretty confident Hamilton would beat him on his second go then it is possible that he panicked and thought the only way to get pole was to be a bit sneaky.

When Hamilton went past he was almost back onto the track. He started reversing almost as soon as the onboard cut away from him.

Why? I simply do not like the chap and his reaction to this is hilarious.

Yes, because all that crying he did was hilarious... oh wait, there wasn't any crying, he also went out of his way to not just call Rosberg a flat out cheat. Lewis behaved responsibly and maturely, and your response is the childish one.

His reaction was incredibly calm and many many drivers(himself included) have reacted very very much worse in many other situations. His was barely a reaction, to have a go at him for the reaction is just absurd.

Because it's posts like yours that make 95% of the F1 threads in this forum a cluster**** of morons. If they remained a discussion with actual facts backing up peoples' points then it'd be a lot more tolerable. But invariably it descends to herp derp.

There are others and I'm not singling you out specifically, you were just wrong place, wrong time.

Yup, Lewis's onboard basically showed his back wheels pretty much in line with the tire barrier, he was on the very very very edge of the track.

He really should have parked the car as far up on the left as he could incase anyone else needed to use the run off. The yellow flag may/may not have been stopped if he had turned the car off as far out of the way as possible. Reversing up a minute later would have been fine(though maybe not for the car) but wouldn't have made any difference to rosberg.

GP2 doesn't have a red flag in the first corner :o

Think a piece of someones wing came off though.
