More PS3's sold than the 360 in Europe

That isn't a discussion really, thats individual statements. As soon as people started commenting on each others views look what happened. Anyone who has been on this forum for more than five minutes should know what was going to happen, stupid thread to start.
 
We will find out next week for sure when Sony announce sales etc at the Conference. Please remember the numbers for Sony are now ship to customer (ie game shops) not ship from stock. It wouldn't be that surprising TBH the PS3 has been out selling the 360 in Europe/ROTW since before Christmas according to mcvuk website. I think some of you are getting confused, DR said Europe, excluding the US and Japan, the worldwide figures are made from sales in Europe, Australasia, Latin America, Africa, Korea etc etc, so it is quite feasible that the numbers of 360 sold in the non European countries could approach the several million?
 
if Sony only sold 2 units, I'd make sure I was 1 of the buyers.

As I couldn't care less about final stats when it comes to a console, or how well they are selling, Aslong as I have 1 in my living room that plays the games I know are on the Horizon...Or just over the next horizon... Or the next one... Or the...
 
He is only talking about in the last year not overall so he is right especially as the 360 in 2008 has been a slow seller due to recent hardware shortages. So this 5m sounds like its about half of the 360's overall EU total.

Lol 360 has not sold 10 million in europe ..... outside the uk the 360 has sold very badly.

Pretty sure there's more content on the american Xbox live than the UK live service. I mean we didn't get movie downloads until recently.

I suspect it's more logistical reasons than Sony Europe deliberately holding back, though they can do a better job communicating to consumers like Sony America, but believe what you will.

There are more territories than just US/Japan and Europe.

Its quiet believable to me that there are more PS3's sold than 360's in europe, in my work 4 guys have PS3's, im the only one that has a 360.

Sony really do have a massive following, the next generation truly didnt arrive until the PS3 came out for a lot of people.

True ..and I think jihad's figure is totally wrong ( no chance there are 10 million 360's sold in europe )
