There was some rumour of a Black/Dark Grey base with some sort of Hexagon/Circuit style orange effect. Could look cool.

Hmm its odd, all im getting now is audio no video from any of the feeds, mazda saying its not available in my region.

Mine was doing that first of all, with all of the streams. So I forced the app closed and reopened it and it seems to be good from then on.

It's going to be a long night, i'd love to have gone there and watch this live. I'd was expecting the Porsche to be a little higher up the ranking but the race is still young.

Can't believe they let that contact slide between the 10 and 5. Possible pay-back for the second car possibly blocking the 10 at one of the restarts?

I think that's what they saw it as after a bit of dirty play by the sister car.

I feel it was a bit of risky a move and contact could have been avoided by either side, but with the added pressure of getting the win and going at that speed, its easy to say that behind a screen. Had some cracking action throughout the field from start to finish. When Pilet was pushing really hard (either 3 or 6 hours left, can't remember) he was pushing the prototypes out of the way in the midfield section.

I'd agree with both of you on the 5 and 10 cars.

However, in the last part of the race Pilet was on fire! The new RSR seems to have upped the game. However, as most (GTE Pro / GTLM) of the competition now are turbo based is that its disadvantage? As thought all the twisty parts it looks very planted. One trick thing about the new RSR though was its radar system which looked like something straight out of Tron. :eek:

It's looking like the Ford GT's will have more competition now as well to spice up the racing. I'm looking forward to this seasons WEC / IMSA / LeMans now.

It was borderline, but just the wrong side of the border IMO. 10/10 for being opportunist though.

T1 at Daytona has a large braking zone and isn't an easy corner (from my iRacing sim experience doing the 24 in a DP). The driver needs to balance the car on turn in while losing 120mph in couple of seconds and trying to overtake. Easier said than done.

Managed to catch a bit, how long were they under a full course yellow for the weather? App actually worked fine for me.

It was something like 7 hours from memory and I think this race holds a record for the lowest amount of laps since 2007 iirc.

I mean come on, this is about their safety alone and whether it's suitable and if not what needs to be changed. They should at the very least be constructive and give their feedback.

I think the 6 that never responded did. By saying nothing.
I hope the Failo will be put to bed and another idea will come along. Maybe in 2020 they can design cars for 3/4 canopy?
