F1 journalism twitter says that it is resolved but the outcome is only announced by the teams, there's speculation that it will be announced at a 2.45pm (CET, I think?) press conference called by McLaren.

Seems I was wrong about this, @413x :

I wonder what is taking them so long, usually the CRB rules within a few days. It's kind of the point of them.

Very disappointed in alpine.
Half a million down, lost their star driver to their main rival.

Couldn't be any worse! And seem like it's complete incompetence

All Because they signed Ocon on a multi year! Crazy

Piastri sounds like the real deal.

I put both mclarens 2023 drivers above both alpines. By a lot! (assuming it's gasly)
If alpine do not have a much better car than mclaren in 2023 mclaren well be being them. Alpine should focus on this year's car.

Very disappointed in how this has played out. Alpine have done off track what ferrari do on it. Mistake after mistake.

I wonder if they'll cut back in young drivers. Because thier investment in piastri has been an absolute disaster. Net input unknown.. Final output?... Lost driver to main team, and paid 500k for the privilege

So listening to Indycar practice it seems that Arrow McLaren SP may now be willing to buy Alex Palou out of his Ganassi contract which suggests CGR DO have a rightful claim to him for next season.
