Is this race around an Industrial Estate? That looks like utter ***** to be honest; bring back Bernie and Herman Tilke.

The colonial owners really are running the sport into the ground. Pointless new circuits, teams with ridiculous names who are essentially just rolling billboards with little chance of success. It's just a willy waving advertising platform at this point. I feel for the people who are there to win and compete. It's just become like a bloatware infested pre-built computer from 15 years ago. The sport has lost its heart and soul for me.

Agreed

It really does seem that Liberty are a 'number goes up' outfit. I literally cannot think of any changes they have made which have been a net benefit to the action on track. It's all fluff and marketing to get new punters and make some money before they realise the action isn't all that great and leave again.

I mean it was obvious when a media company took over that this is what would happen; I'm sure there were rumours years earlier that Sky/Murdoch were considering a takeover of F1; exactly the same thing would have happened.

I do hope the 'Bernie out' folks are happy with what we got as a replacement ;)

I think more people should come out and support Zak Brown in stating it’s totally unfair they're allowed two teams and four drivers in a race. Haven’t they publicly said they will be working together a lot more going forward, sharing parts and research etc? How that is fair on the other teams I do not know… Let alone what they get up to on track.

Not everyone agrees with Zak though https://www.grandprix247.com/2024/01/22/allison-downplays-red-bull-and-alphatauri-connection/#:~:text=AlphaTauri that will get its, latter developed their young drivers. As James Allison has stated there are clear rules all teams have to adhere to, as quoted: "If two teams have a strong relationship with each other, it can only really be a strong commercial relationship. It cannot be a strong technical or a strong sporting relationship because the rules forbid that."
