I can't see him being fired regardless - if he has done something, it'll be 'is leaving by mutual agreement' or similar nonsense to try and avoid getting entangled in discussing whatever it is he is accused of.

Lies and fake news spread by Mercedes British newspapers as Mercedes is based in the UK and Hamilton is British so they’re out to get Red Bull. There’s no need for a hearing as Horner is clearly innocent and shouldn’t have been investigated in the first place.

Am I doing this right @cuke2u ?
Whose ever stated Mercedes are out to get RB and who has stated anything about fake news? Of course once an allegation has been made then it is only correct it needs to be properly and impartiality investigated.
Innocent until proven guilty but if he is proven to have acted unprofessionally then he will go which is a shame. But if he's not then no way should he resign.

I thought it was pretty well known and accepted that Lewis always had a soft spot for Ferrari. The timing was a surprise, but that it happened at all wasn't.

Anything could happen in 2026. Especially now Newey is going to Ferrari, apparently.
So in about two hours we've gone from Horner not having done anything to him negotiating a golden parachute payoff, to Newey and Horner's deals being based on mutual employment of each other to now Horner being sacked and Newey moving to Italy?

Meanwhile back in the real corporate world and era of being politically correct.

I’d wage a large amount of money Horner won’t be leading Red bull racing come start of the season.

That's what I mean by game over, he'll probably be out one way or another.

Sad if he leaves he's done wonders at Red Bull. But yeh if he's been scummy then absolutely get rid of him and I am glad RB are treating the accusation seriously and seem to be doing the necessary due diligence to try and get to the bottom of it.

He's meeting the investigator(s?) on Friday apparently. I think there's a decent chance that will lead to a decision on him leaving before season start or not.

Horner is a bit of a sausage but he only needs to go/step down if he's actually done something to warrant it... However I can't see him stepping down on his own based on his perceived personality. :D
