The evidence would have been gathered for the investigation - my assumption is that this has leaked from there.
So someone breaking their own NDA? how professional of them, I am sure they wont end up on a blacklist once identified.
Which opens up a further question - maybe they are so ****** off at the outcome they don't care about payouts or official investigations now, they just want the truth out there and to see him held to account for it so thought "sod it, i'll make it all public, see if he survives that"?

There's so many different potential motivations that people may have for this to have happened.
And he'll more than likely survive it, as from initial viewing, this is clearly a civil matter between him and the individual.
And then again another civil matter for him and his wife.

The only thing I am looking forward to is the Sky coverage tomorrow...

What will they say, or will they blank it completely? I guess it depends on how this develops overnight!!
Well today sky did discuss it briefly, but I did not see any shots of Horner but some close shots of other senior redbull bods.

He’s definitely persona none grata

“I won’t comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate, I have always denied the allegations,” he said.

“I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way.

“It was a thorough and fair investigation conducted by an independent specialist barrister and it has concluded, dismissing the complaint made. I remain fully focused on the start of the season.”

If that's a legit statement from him, that's going to throw fuel on the fire because people are surely going to pick up on him not saying outright "That leak is fake"

Exactly the court must now have evidence.

An affair between someone in finance department of a general office job and someone in facilities. Probably not that bad.

An affair between a teacher and headmaster. Yeah probably bad.

An affair between a lower level employee with team principle and CEO of global animal Red Bull Racing, with Christian's history. I would say very bad. The potential for abuse of power, trust, favouritism, manipulation and corruption is high.

The thing is though with some people in the world and on the internet.
CH could have come out and said, its fake and no one would believe him.

The question that will be asked though, is why avoid saying it? Whether people would believe you or not, why stop short of adding a short sentence to your statement saying it is fake?

The conclusion people will reach is that he's avoided saying that because the material is genuine.

If they weren't clamouring to see the full detail of those pictures before, they will be after a statement like that.

He'd probably have been better off ignoring it entirely, at least that can come across as "he's ignoring it, so maybe it's not genuine and he doesn't care". If you're going to acknowledge it and say something, being that vague seems just about the worst way to approach it.

Yep. A CEO having an affair with any employee is a sackable offence. No question , you just cannot do it. Politicians careers have been ruined because of similar, high level employees at recognised companies have been immediately let go without question.

If the messages prove he had an affair, then it proves RB decided to cover it up with their “investigation” and makes the whole thing stink to high heaven. If the messages prove he had an affair, he’s done for.

They'd be clamouring for it regardless of the outcome.
Why? because people are nosey and think because he is on TV, they deserve to know all things in and out of their life.

Some people would have been desperate to see it all anyway, sure, not disputing that.

More and more people will join that bandwagon the more and more likely it begins to appear that the leaked stuff is genuine.

I guess i'm just surprised he's chosen to acknowledge it to any extent so soon and in doing so, give people an easy conclusion to jump to by skirting away from saying it's all nonsense.

Well, in one message she was saying "that is worse than touching" and "you calling me and then I just listen or talk to help you explode". There is definitely some sexual undercurrents to the messages.

I expect that point to be argued from the perspective of exploding in terms of having a rant, as in offloading stress verbally. You know, rather than semen.

Fools believing fools? Is this how the flat earth society started?

I dont see a problem, he said he refutes online speculation i.e whats going on in here and on X.
Then just maintained his stance on the investigation, which is realistically a common sense move.
You dont want to then invite even more questions about an investigation which has been closed pending appeal.
