All the teams unanimously voted against it https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/f...-rejection-of-points-system-changes/10638056/The FIA have rejected the proposed new points system giving points down to 12th. I think that's a shame, personally.

Ocon confirmed at Haas for 2025 (and beyond)
I think they'll confirm Antonelli in Monza, at his home race, if he has a good weekend in Spa.

My memory is cloudy, and I've only watched the X-Files many many many times, but yeah, I think this was on Mulder's office wall.![]()
This one?
Can Williams afford him?
That's probably it for Sargant's F1 career then? Certainly not the worst but never really seemed to make much progress.
I didn’t realise that the Audi ceo who decided to put them into F1 had also left. That coupled with the recent team management changes could point to all not being 100% with their impending entry.Sainz has confirmed he is going to Williams on a two year deal.
A strong vote of confidence for Williams, a vote of no-confidence for Sauber/Audi, and - at last - it means we have a decent comparator for Albon post-Red Bull.
I knew of the team staff changes (Seidl out, Binotto in) but nothing about the CEO change. When I saw Sainz had signed for Williams I thought the change of the management won't have made a good impression. Looks like Williams will have quite a good pairing next season. If Vowles can continue improving the team and they can build a decent car for 2025 then having two solid drivers able to bring points home could really pay off. Really Williams could only depend on Albon to get points and that would have hurt them in the constructor's table.I didn’t realise that the Audi ceo who decided to put them into F1 had also left. I don’t think it’s a terrible move. Plus it must mean that Red Bull and Mercedes are relatively decided?..
