Mountain Biking

My son's Commencal Ramones 16" was getting abit small for him so we upgraded. He wanted a full susser but they were all mega heavy, even front suspension for kids was heavy on a 20" bike so found a lighter option. Genesis kids fat bike. It's awesome and I'm jelous. I would definitely like to try a fat bike on a trail some day.

any idea how much i could get for my superstar build wheels? 650b DS25 BLACK RIMS / SWITCH ULTRA BLACK HUBS 32H (15mm front, 142/12mm rear, shimano freewheel)

seem to be £240 new currently. all straight and no dinks etc.
But how much did you pay for them? Everyone knows that Superstar wheels are dirt cheap with an offer code, currenly 20%.

I could be interested....

I paid 180. Obviously like you say deals make gauging a price hard.

They've done naff all miles and had an all round easy life.

Yer bike, for me, just tried to cram too much in - the sections just weren't long enough

I was just enjoying them and they'd jump somewhere else

It was fun and not serious, which was fine - just too "bitty" if you know what I mean
Hey you live near me? Ish?

I used to :) I grew up in Stokesley and my parents are still there and outlaws near Broughton, just up the road

Down in Cheshire now, but some back sort of regular to see family etc., first time I brought my bike back though :)

Ah yes, I found your trustage :(

Shame - well if you're ever up again with your bike, and fancy some company, give me a shout :D

Tyres arrived today and now bike build is nearly finished. Just waiting for my chain tool and lube to arrive so I can cut and fit the chain. Also gotta take the bike to Evans to get the post mount tapped as I de threaded it :( Can't wait to go Danbury

Bike weighs right on 13kg

I entered my first enduro today after MTBing "properly" for 3-4 years. I should have been doing enduros for a lot longer but I have always just ridden for fun with my mates. It's around 5 months away which is too long!

Haha yeah it is Swinley. Wouldn't have entered, but it's where I grew up, and I used to ride all over that forest on my cheap mountain bike in my teenage years. Always been daunted by entering Welsh Gravity or similar, but I know that I'm good enough to place quite well in them. Hopefully this is the start of many.

Hehe, cool :) I've never raced either so I'm definitely nervous about signing up. The entrance fee is steep though for a place that I don't find very interesting. £45 is not far off a day out in Wales.
