MSI UK Details its Sandy Bridge Exchange Program

Registered 30/3/11 still haven't heard anything.Others seem to be dealt with much quicker than i am being dealt with.

Send ScottiB from MSI a message via Trust or send an e-mail to the address you got the original e-mail from.

I think they all end up with ScottiB and he's very helpful.

Registered a while ago. Havent heard anything from MSI. Not in the best of moods now.

Email them again, it takes a while but they are good when they get around to you. I imagine this is a much bigger job than they normally handle when they have to exchange all the P67 boards they sold, that's a lot of work!

Coming Tuesday to pick up my old ones, already have the news ones, no complaints here:cool:

Hi,
I registered a couple of weeks ago but have since moved back to uni so the pick-up/delivery address has now changed.
Any way I can sort this out?
Cheers

EDIT: As a side note, is it possible to upgrade from the GD65 to the GD80? If so what's the price for this?

Send an email to ScottiB, it's in his trust, and i'm sure he'll sort it for you.

I honestly can't be bothered replacing the mobo. Anyone else? An absolute pain taking the old one out, putting the new one in and fighting a battle with oversized cpu coolers and graphics cards. I'll just move everything to the sata 3 ports.

I registered on the 28 Mar and emailed ScottiB who replied that all the people who registered would be sorted out by the end of Apr. Not really in that much of a rush for mine cos it's for a new build, the old one is already boxed and ready to go. Just would have been nice to have it this week as I'm off till the 03 May.

Eleven minutes past nine and City Link have just collected my two GD65 boards. Just need the refund to come through and that's it. Packed them in a box with that air packing stuff I saved from other deliveries, better packaging than the they arrived in!

10/10 for MSI so far :)

Hello All,

please let me clarify something. A large number of boards have been registered for exchange so far and we have contacted 70% of registered users. If you registered after the 23rd March then you will not have been contacted yet but you will be very soon. Please be patient with us, MSI UK are a small rep office trying to do the work of a big RMA centre.

I've had my boards collected last Tuesday, no refund yet, I've emailed MSI support to ask. I presume the holiday period has delayed the refunds?

stupid question, but whats a rebate? :o

Got my replacement board yesterday, getting the B2 picked up on Tuesday. I hope the refund is quick its £160 I could do with pretty soon.
