Rilot, any lag in the video going from analogue to digital? Interested as I have never heard of anyone using the Rift for FPV

So i have the following ordered and was wondering what size batteries would be best. I have some 3s 1000mah 25-35c and 2200mah 40-50c, would either of these be ok?

4 x Emax SimonK 12A
4 x ZMR 1804 2400kv Motor
H250 Carbon Fiber Frame
Full Naze 32 FC
HK 6ch Receiver
HQ 5030 and 6030 props
2200mah sounds a bit heavy for a 250
I read a 250 build somewhere where the guy tested a number of different sized batteries. He found that 1300 was about the best as beyond that the added weight reduced flight times by more than the added power increased it.

How do you guys mount your FPV aerials?
Test my FPV setup last night and was only getting about 50m range, maybe even less
I got some circular polarized antennas:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...Antenna_RP_SMA_Transmitter_and_Receiver_.html
and I'm using this Tx
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__27145__Boscam_TS353_5_8G_400mW_FPV_Transmitter.html
The Tx is mount on top of one of the legs and I bent the aerial so it was facing downward, if I turned it more than about 90 degrees though I lost signal at not much distance
I also discovered that I had the antennas the wrong way round on the Tx and Rx which probably was helping matters
Is it best to have the antenna facing downwards or should it be upright?
Should have taken a pic really, the antenna has a "flexible shaft" which allowed me to curve it around, I will take some pics when I get home as it is hard to explain
