Reading subs is already hard from 5 - 6 meters away with an 18" TFT, my eyesight is good, due to the glasses :p

It's 5 - 6 meters because that's the rough distance from my table to the top end of my bed in my uni room.

farthest i can go is 4 meters, just finished watching steamboy R1 DVD and subs are readable.

feels a bit wierd after 6 months of none stop in your face viewing tho :D

Wow, my 2405FPW has just arrived, the images here really don't do justice to the huge screen size, the box it arrives in does though :)

Will try it on my single 7800GTX tonight, looking forward to tomorrow as my other 7800GTX arrives for some SLI action @ 1900x1200!!!

I'm not sure how to word this but these can now be had for £599 (not ebay or anything), Gibbo if you want details please email me (in trust) as the source is a little suprising to be honest!

Cheers

PS Nobody else email me as I won't tell you where.

planning on getting one of these at the end of the month to watch my high def movies on (and some gaming :p ). right now i have an ocuk 7800gt. for video that's fine, but for 1920x1200 res gaming, will the card handle it ok or would i need SLI for that?

Only fired up WOW last night but at 1900x1200 Widescreen res it looks the mutt's nuts.... And the desktop... Never had so much screen real estate to play with, finding so many new ways to work as there is no need to minimise windows anymore :p

Best piece of hardware I ever bought (and I buy an awful a lot), upgraded from a 19" Samsung SM191T to this.

"WORD OF CAUTION" as already noted elsewhere in the thread, if you want all the eye candy (AA/AF etc... etc..) be prepared to go SLI or crossfire in order to drive the puppy at 1920x1080 res..

£599 is a great price for this screen and im sure the finance fanboys are crying when they remember what they paid at the start for this display.

Personally though i think its time it had a successor.
6-8ms full PVA and upgraded to 26" with full HDTV support added, remote, tuner the works. :D
